The Price of Umbrellas Go Up on Rainy Days

Telling the truth is easy when there’s nothing at stake.
Being honest feels good when it pays.
Discipline is a delight when the payoff is quick.
But when things get tough. When friends are hard to find. When you’re the only one standing. When the spotlight is on you and the crowd is booing, and you feel sweat running down your back…now that’s different.
The reason it’s different is because the price just went up. But like the price of umbrellas when its raining…if you’re willing to pay the price you’re come through the storm so much better and like the guy who brought the umbrella…you’re still have your integrity when the tough times have passed over.
The ONE THING for today: You may be paying a high price right now to live by your convictions. Pay it! It will be worth it in the long run.
