The Repentance Of A Turkey

The Repentance Of A Turkey

repent

A turkey can’t repent and turn to Christ but you can.  I repented and turned to Christ August the 24, 1988 and I’ve been thankful ever since.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you”

I have much to be thankful for. You have much to be thankful for. As Christ followers, we have much to be thankful for. However, the greatest thing to be thankful for is the gift of Christ for our salvation.

Jesus paid our sin debt, and through Him, we are rescued. Of all of God’s gifts, Jesus Christ is above them all. Through believing on Christ, we have forgiveness of our sins and can embrace the gift of eternal life.

I’m thankful today that this gift is available to anyone that will call on His name in true and sincere faith. God’s gift of salvation through His son Jesus, meets the deepest need of our lives, the need to be reconciled to Him.

Augustine once said, “Salvation is God’s way of making us real people.” We must always remember that without God it is impossible to be fully human the way He intended us to be.

Do you have a relationship with Christ? If not, you can make it right today. Right where you are, surrender your heart to Him, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life.

Romans 10:9 “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved”.

Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Salvation day if you accepted Christ
