I don’t agree with Martyn the way he defines prayer as if there is a separate gup between prayer and theology. Because When I am maditating in any theological aspect through I am praying and when I am praying I am meditating of one theological aspect. One cannot happen without the other but they are not separate like after getting all the theology I need then it is the time now to pray or to seek God. Secondly, the understanding of the scripture does not depend on our capacity to stay in prayer but on God alone because He promised it.
