It actually says it is impossible to PLEASE God without faith
Hebrews 11:6 KJV
But without faith it is impossible to please him : for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. -

Jesus also asked if there would be any faith left when He returns to judge the earth. (Luke 18:8) For all the ‘Christians’ out there, it’s hard to say how many actually believe in God when you observe the way they spend their time – their lives, really – chasing after money, and the things it can buy.

Please God, not impress God, Because He wants to be believed like you do when you say something.
