This is so dumb. Recreating preexisting conditions to let life happen again is not the same as designing it… It’s a false equivocation.
It’s like saying that a wave pool is evidence that an intelligent design is creating all the waves at the beach. Except the wave pool is actually creating waves whereas the scientists aren’t creating life, they’re letting it happen.

When it happens it won’t be proof of how life started but it will show what is possible.

The miller urey test was ridiculous. They made 2 backwards synthetic proteins. You need atleast 20 to create life, and those 20 must be repeated in precise order 300-500 times in a row, and all turning the right way. Plus their “mixture” was 90% toxic, so any life would have died anyway.
They also used ammonia and left oxygen out of the experiment. Without oxygen, life can’t grow. But if they had added oxygen, it would have destroyed the ammonia and they wouldn’t have even arrives at backwards proteins.
With oxygen, life can’t evolve. And without oxygen, life can’t evolve.

Even given all the necessary elements(right handed proteins) or all the right chemicals and parts they will never give life or consciousness. To make a thing (non living matter) think for itself requires the life giver, period. The closest they can come in experimentation is manipulating pre existing life then making false claims.

What a gamble numbers to infinity in an infinite number of series for the complexities of one man! Multiply that by the infinite series of infinite series is space, × inner space, × the oceanic world× the world underground. How can you exercise faith in such a system. You would have to be an omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient God yourself to have abilities and capabilities to perform consistently in this universe. Much easier to trust the Creator than to replace him with the image of phew you.?!?
