I have included a special message at the end of this article for those who have reached the point where the burden of evidence that the world is spinning out of control is overwhelming. I hope you will read and take to heart what God requires in order to give His free gift of eternal life, as He has declared is His will for all who trust in Him.

Permit me to make one thing perfectly clear at the outset. I am an American as far as this life is concerned, and I believe that the action being taken against the Iranian leadership and their military was overdue since 4 November 1979.

Because it wasn’t acted on then, we have had death and chaos perpetrated against Americans, Israelis, Iranians, and others all over the world. The proxy war against Israel and America for the last 47 years confirms this. This weakness has resulted in the current situation, the attempt to manufacture nuclear weapons, and the will and determination to deliver them and destroy Israel and America.

Are they able to, through the many means of delivery, advances in weapons technology, and their numerous little helpers? Where there is a will, there is a way.

There are many who say Iran and its willing proxies pose no “immediate” threat to America. Shall we wait until we find out while using Geiger counters?

Aren’t we finding out on the streets of our cities and towns already?

That is almost identical to the attitude some in our country evidenced in the late 1930s. Hitler is just a clown; pay him no mind. By 1939/1940, he had overrun most of Europe and was setting his sights on the rest of the world. The 1,000-year Reich wouldn’t have stopped in Europe.

Hitler had an agenda, and he carried it out once he attained sufficient power. The “leadership” of Iran also has a clearly stated goal of bringing about worldwide chaos, which they believe is necessary to bring about their end-of-days scenario.

The Lord God Himself was quite well aware of man’s ability to bring about his desires if determined to do it, so why are today’s pundits so obtuse? Easy, they deny God’s Word.

“And the LORD said, “If they have begun to do this as one people speaking the same language, then nothing they devise will be beyond them(Genesis 11:6). Emphasis added.

Here we are in 2026 with a fresh set of maniacs who have been pursuing a similar goal of destruction, and America has once again come to the aid of an ally (Israel), who is almost always under unrelenting assault. This time it’s the fanatical Mullahs.

I have no doubt in our military’s ability for warfighting under this current administration, but speaking as a veteran, I had grave doubts until recently when I could see the complete change in focus. We now have a strong force capable of taking it to the enemy.

The game has changed.

With the rapidly evolving new weapons technology, everyone is “in range.” In our case, we have been infiltrated by elements bent on our destruction from within. All they really need is for us to have our own Neville Chamberlain.

But, wait, we have lots of them.

We are loaded with delusional people who have not yet figured out, or willfully ignore, the fact that the Mullahs et al, who hold the whips, chains and reins in Iran, have honed deliberate deception into a fine art. How many times do they have to intentionally delay and obfuscate in order to buy time before people wake up?

Only a fool would fail to see that nuclear weapons in the hands of Iran would come to our shores eventually.

This article is not to debate God’s prophecy given to Abraham in Genesis 12:3 and its applicability to the present-day Jewish people, except to point out that God’s promise was unconditional to His people, regardless of their government, and His people are the Jews.

That does not mean we are obligated to agree with or support everything that the largely secular government of Israel does, but we stand by them as an ally should when they are under an existential threat – which has been the default position of the current State of Israel since 15 May 1948.

Why has America been the most blessed and prosperous nation in the world? Could it be that we have stood by the State of Israel and kept our word to them for the last 78 years?

If the world at large would read the Word of God and believe Him, it would clarify some of what is happening right now – but the world refuses to love the Truth.

Now to the crux of this article.

Despite America’s military might and power, there is another consideration at this point in history that will likely have a bearing on this nation’s ultimate destiny.

Unless the Lord builds the house, They labor in vain who build it;
Unless the Lord guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain”
(Psalm 127:1-2). Emphasis added.

The house that was once America has not been spiritually maintained, especially in the last 65 or so years. The house that was blessed in World War II has not won a war since 1945 (the first Gulf War was not really a complete victory due, as usual, to politics).

These people draw near to Me with their mouths and honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me. Their worship of Me is but rules taught by men” (Isaiah 29:13). Emphasis added.

During the Korean War and all subsequent wars, America yoked itself to man-created organizations (so-called “peace makers”). Since then, instead of our leaders openly praying to and putting their trust in God directly, we have politicians making political decisions based on political thinking while only paying lip service to the One True God.

This practice continues today.

But that is not the whole difference by any means. America has become a source of great evil in this world, and God is not unaware of it.

There are six things that the LORD hates, seven that are detestable to Him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that run swiftly to evil, a false witness who gives false testimony, and one who stirs up discord among brothers” (Proverbs 6:16-19).

Like the situation with Iran that has grown into a major problem, the description in the above verse has been allowed to go on for so long that it has become a detestable insult to God, and it perfectly describes everyday conduct in America.

  • Pride
  • Lying
  • Mass murder of babies both in and out of the womb.
  • Constant plotting, planning and scheming (primarily to gain wealth).
  • Taking every opportunity to exploit others.
  • Lying witnesses, Lying Lawyers, and corrupt Judges.
  • False reporting in order to divide and destroy.

God may use America’s power to further His plans (a tactic He has used throughout history), but He will not excuse Godless behavior because of it.

Like the Assyrians, the Babylonians, and so many others, God will use nations for His purposes, and He will then execute judgment according to His own authority.

It pains me to ask it, but is the America of today all that much morally different from ancient Babylon?

“He makes nations great and destroys them; He enlarges nations, then disperses them(Job 12:23).

Surely the nations are like a drop in a bucket; they are considered a speck of dust on the scales” (Isaiah 40:15).

All the nations are as nothing before Him; He regards them as nothingness and emptiness” (Isaiah 40:17). Emphasis added.

As we see these current events unfold, there is much speculation about the “end of the world,” as so many now fear. Having studied God’s prophetic word for 30+ years, I urge caution in second-guessing them.

At the present time, America’s prominence makes one wonder why this nation is not specifically mentioned in prophecy, but God’s Will will be done, and that will be that.

Despite all this, what really matters to each woman and man, individually?

“And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27).

Every person will face the end of their own individual world, regardless of what happens in the world itself. What eternally matters is where will you spend your eternity?

“Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me” (Revelation 3:20).

The special message I promised you:

For anyone who may read this article and has not trusted in Jesus Christ and therefore has no real hope or peace in your life.

You can have hope. You can have the peace that Jesus has promised to all who have made Him their Lord and Savior. The peace that passes understanding.

It requires that you come before God on His terms and that you do so in your living years.

And, what are His terms according to His Word?

  • Genuine repentance (turning to God instead of continuing to reject or ignore Him).
  • Confession of sins (that you are a sinner and acknowledge that to God).
  • That you understand that the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23).
  • To acknowledge to God that you are unable to pay that debt.
  • Belief that Jesus Christ paid your death sentence for you on the cross and rose from the grave three days later, conquering death, just as He promised.
  • To believe that Jesus is the Way, the only Way, that God has established by which humans may be saved from the consequences of their sin and rebellion.

This is what leads one to the Spiritual Rebirth that Jesus requires (John 3:3).

God has made it absolutely clear that there is no one who comes before Him, under His terms, that will be refused.

  • No one: no race, no color, no country of origin, regardless of any previous belief system: no one.
  • No matter what your past sins have been, God can and WILL forgive you because He says He will.
  • Salvation is available to everyone without any exceptions.

If you put all your trust for salvation in Jesus, and Him only, you can follow that prayer up by simply saying, “Thank you, Father God, for hearing my prayer and saving me,” because we can trust Him to keep His Word. He always has. He always will.

“Truly, Truly, I say to you that he who hears My words and believes the One who sent Me has eternal life and will not be condemned. He has crossed from death to life” (John 5:24).

There are no answers and there is no hope in the world by governments, organizations, politics or politicians. There are only lies and deception. But you can have the Truth and the peace you seek.

The answers are in the Word of God—The Bible. If you ask God, with all your heart, He will hear you.

“And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart” (Jeremiah 29:13).
