Hey everyone! It’d be good to know what everyone thinks about this:
Do aborted babies go to Heaven? Or even young children who die at a very young age, where do they go?
I’m new to this group, so if this question has been answered already, forgive my ignorance.
My answer is yes for both. Anyone who dies before an age of accountability would go to heaven

According to Jesus, belief, or failure to believe is the litmus test. An unborn child or a young child does not have the capacity to hear and understand and then decide to believe or not.

I find comfort in Romans 1. It teaches that those who observe that General revelation of God and discard it are without excuse. That implies to me that those who are incapable of even contemplating God’s General Revelation have an excuse. I see those is being children, and the mentally incapacitated.

Personally, I think scripture gave us a clue
“They tried to hide their nakedness.”
Children below a certain age will feel no shame on running around naked, swimming naked and so on, then, one day, they won’t do it again. I personally think this is when they have become actually guilty of their first sin understanding the prohibition against something and choosing to ignore that law and did it anyway.
AND
In the 40 yrs in the wilderness, God did not punish those below a certain age. This, however, was probably due to not having reached the age of consent, wherein they could marry and have a voice in the affairs of the nation.
This does though challenge a theology question.
If a
Baby is aborted that means 99.99999% chance it’s going straight to heaven’s gates. And in that sense.
Planned parenthood is simply helping to fill up heavens gates!! Right?

More babies were murdered by planned parrenthood than were born in New York City

And being raised in a unloved family that was born out of wedlock in a
Poor family that struggles to feed you
Your chances are that your gonna be a criminal and have a higher chance of going to hell (theoretical)

Now that’s a fools way to advocate murder, but it’s the heartless person who won’t let the child

See as the church we are offered the opportunity to take a child, unwanted and raise that child and their mother

Provide for her
Feed and shelter them
Help her get an education to work at home with the child
Get the kid some organic food and help her breast feed
Or you can call her a sinner and a whore
You can see she can’t feed or provide
That she might of just sinned once
Or a million times
But she knows
Only through a work of grace can she and this baby get into the gates of heaven
And her killing that baby
Though could cast herself in hell
Giving the child
The love of Christ
So it has a chance to be loved
Even if she suffers because of it

We can see her pain and stop her from the great sin
But without our open arms
She and the baby will

We get to choose
Judgement (for only god can judge)

Our saved up 401k and hoping for retirement
Or knowing a baby is loved and safe?
We can’t assume all babies go to heaven.
We must assume they all burn in hell and so will their mothers and fathers.
That we help them
With food
Shelter
Jobs and skills
Love and compassion
Make them your family
When they didn’t have one
For we are the family of Christ Jesus
I believe they go to heaven, but some Christian’s who hold to a strong calvinism view of scripture would believe that even some of the babies are doomed to eternal destruction and some to heaven. I’d say by and large though most would say they go to heaven even if it seems to cause contradiction in the system they believe in. It isn’t an easy thing to hold to a hard core calvinist view as it comes across really harsh for most listeners so when sensitive subjects like these come up they would usually tone it down or sound good. I think being intellectually honest with what a person believes though should be more important than pleasing or telling people what they want to hear because consistency is important.
Let us say that 100% of babies aborted do go to paradise.
Why should we still be against abortion?

The bible doesn’t say but God is just and loving so we have to trust him. My wife and I have 4 babies who died in utero and I’m sure I’ll see them again.
We are all sinners, yes, and there is non who is righteous. But we all have been given free will by the Loving Almighty God. Therefore, we end up in hell by choice. Did we accept or reject the Gospel? Babies and small children who are unable to make any decisions would be going straight to heaven, otherwise by what account would they deserve hell? We do not pay for the sins of our previous generations. Salvation is an individual choice and so we make that decision on our own. Those who are unable wouldn’t be going there as they did not have the chance to reject or accept the Gospel. That’s my understanding ?
there are many things that are silent in the Bible…. and has no absolute answer. and God has reasons to keep some things hidden, His thoughts are not the same as our thoughts, His ways are not the same
as our ways… if some of our questions doesn’t have a direct answer from the Bible, its because God has kept it that way and its not for us to know, curiosity is good, curiosity means we want to learn, but it can lead to confusion also…(and others are even debating over this, and sadly fighting to give the right answer)… like what God showed to Job in the last chapters in the book of Job, that Job has a limited view of the world…. whatever the answer to your question, only God has the right answer for that. . .
(don’t let this things to distract you from more important things like growing spiritually, and nurturing relationship with God, and being more obedient to God’s will, i think these things are more important)
The REAL answer to this question is unequivocally, 100% YES! ALL babies that die, automatically go to heaven. Why would babies who have NOT committed any sin, need salvation to cover their sins? That makes absolutely no sense, since they haven’t committed any sin! Because of their innocence, they don’t need to be forgiven to be saved. In Deuteronomy 1:39 God mentions children with no knowledge between good and evil. It’s interesting to note that Adam and Eve weren’t guilty of any sin until they had knowledge of good and evil either; therefore no bloodshed or sacrifice was required until then. Remember how God made clothes out of skins for them? Obviously SOMETHING died to produce those skins; it’s called substitutionary atonement. Romans 6:23 says “the wages of sin is death” meaning eternal damnation; but without the knowledge of right and wrong, it is impossible to sin. So, ultimately, any inclination of eternal damnation for someone who hasn’t sinned is unbiblical and utterly absurd. In Matthew 19:14 Jesus said: “let the little children come unto me… for of SUCH IS THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN”. This is repeated in Luke 18 AND Mark 10. Furthermore, Psalm 139:13-14 tells us that God customizes each of us in our mothers wombs, and that we are fearfully (towards God, in the good way, of course) and wonderfully made. Then goes on to say that the soul knows of his goodness. This seems to indicate that even during gestation, God reveals himself to us. Which also ties in with Romans 1:20 that says the things that are made, understand God’s eternal power and Godhead (the “Trinity”). Scripture (the Bible) teaches that from the moment you’re conceived you are a soul with a forming body, and AT THAT VERY MOMENT, you meet and begin to know the eternal God, as he puts you together inside your mother. So, it would seem that innocent children are STILL justified by faith, since they KNOW God from in the womb. Pretty cool, huh? Now, with all that being said, anyone who encourages or has an abortion, is guilty of murder in the Lord’s eyes; and rightfully so! Is there anything more heinous than murdering an unborn child? REGARDLESS OF THE CIRCUMSTANCES: If the baby is unwanted for ANY reason, give it up for adoption instead of murdering him/her.

Aborted babies have no spirit being because God breathes the spirit (breath of life) into the baby at birth. If they were not born they have no eternal spirit to go to Heaven. When a person dies, their eternal spirit is separated from the flesh and blood body to go either to Heaven with God or adversely to Hell separated from God.
The reproduction process creates the flesh and blood being but the spirit being is created and delivered by God.

If that is the case our abortion fight is all for nought. And, John the Baptist leaped in his mother’s womb when he heard Mary the mother of Jesus speak. Jer. 1:5 before I formed you in the womb I knew you. Is. 49:15 can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forgot, yet I will not forget you.
People are not guilty of sins they have not committed! This is what Romans 2 points out. It says that people will be judged based on the level of revelation they have been given: if you have been given the law you’ll be judged by the law, if you’ve been given the gospel you’ll be judged by the gospel, etc. Babies who die before birth have not received any revelation therefore they have not had opportunity to choose whether to except or reject God. Therefore they will not be judged but only excepted into heaven.
Babies are not condemned to hell because they have not committed sins even if they have a sin nature. They have not had a chance to choose whether to sin or except the savior from their sins.
This type of question: “whether babies who have died before the age of accountability go to heaven or hell” is not a waste of time or unnecessarily controversial; but instead it is actually foundational to the understanding of how God provides salvation.
This issue does not belong to Calvinist nor Armenians since free will or choice are excluded from this argument. The real question here is the judgment of God. and since Scripture is unequivocal about the fact that God is a just God we can be assured that he will take all stillborn babies or aborted babies to be with him.
The secondary issue is the image of God; since only mankind is made in the image of God in all creation, and we are the only thing in creation that is eternal along with God, we will live either with him or apart from him forever. Those who have never sinned (babies) or have had their sins wiped away by Jesus sacrifice (believers) will live with God forever.

Yes they go to heaven. Why ask this question? Remember however that according to every account in the Bible that for human beings the ends do not justify the means. Therefore to abort a baby in justification for insurance that the baby goes to heaven would be objectively wrong.
I believe that they go to Heaven..
The Bible says God will not loose ANY of his elect. We see that John the Baptist lept for joy in the presence of Jesus while they were both still in the womb. Clearly John had saving faith from within the womb. But we also read in the old testament that very early on God loved Jacob but Esau he hated. So we see the fates of both John the Baptist and Esau were already determined.
We also need to remember that God is a just God. Of course we are all saddened when we hear stories of abortion or babies dying at a young age. But if we were honest with ourselves, we also have all wondered why God didn’t snuff out the candles of Adolf Hitler and Osama bin laden at an early age. We will never understand God’s wisdom while we’re on this side of eternity. But we can trust God’s wisdom to know how to cover the salvation of people who never got the chance to show fruit.

Suffer the children to come unto me. That says a lot right there. When King David’s 7 day old son died he said “I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me”.

Sometimes we get so involved with scripture, we forget the character of God. He is always loving and just.
When davids son died he stopped morning. Why? Because he knew his son was in heaven and he would go to him when he went.

We teach that if they have a spirit, they go to heaven. As for a child, before the age of accountability. They too go to heaven.

People don’t go to heaven. If you read the scriptures, you’ll clearly understand that.
God knows us even before we are formed in our mother’s womb. There isn’t any passage in the Bible that discusses an age of innocence because we are all born sinners. However, if a child is old enough to know right from wrong they are judged accordingly. One also has to use common sense after all, God did give us a brain for a reason ?
There is a passage in 2 Samuel (if memory serves) that speaks to this. The answer is yes, the do.
They do. 2 Samuel 11. King David remarked that he would return to the child who died 7 days after being born, yet the child would not return to him. In other words, they would be reunited in heaven one day, but the child would not be reunited while David was still alive on this earth. Life begins at conception: whether the child passed 2 weeks after birth or 2 weeks before birth, the child will return to the Father.
WARNING: CONTROVERSIAL ANSWER
So, let me first state that I was taught the age of accountability doctrine, FYI that’s where God doesn’t institute his wrath on youngsters too young to know what the sacrifice on the cross even meant and can’t mentally understand their need for a spiritual decision. If you have a child that dies of miscarriage or 3 months or 3 years, why should they go to Hell just because they didn’t live long enough to be witnessed to. Now, this makes loads of sense, at least to a point. Now, there are those, rare as they are, that actually think all who die outside of Christ are damned, and this includes young people who have the stain of original sin. They have a point that we all have original sin and children are dead in their sins, spiritual sins, but they are missing some big things here.
1.So, here’s my first question before you go asking things like, If I had a miscarriage or had an abortion, would my kid go to Heaven. Your first question should be Are you even saved? You might say Why would I be worrying about heaven if I wasn’t a believer. The issue here is not belief. Are you saved? Repented of your sinful life, understand that your evil deeds sent Christ to the cross, surrendered your life to the Lord and living for Him, believed that Jesus died and was resurrected for you, and are following him faithfully and bringing others to Christ, aka bearing fruit? Because here’s the thing, if you don’t even know how to be saved, it’s very unlikely your living children understand either. If your other children had lived, you might have just taught them your own watered down version of religion which doesn’t get anyone to Heaven or salvation anyways. So, step 1 make sure you are saved.
2. Be comforted that if you are saved, God likely gave many of those children to you because he knew they would eventually accept Him. He gives some who become Christians to lost people too, which is good. It means there is hope for everyone. So, the point here is that God certainly wouldn’t take away your child’s opportunity to go to Heaven due to a shortened life(Again, trying to be sensitive here and doctrinal, which is hard. Sorry for your loss in advance.) If you think God didn’t have the foresight to plan for such eventualities, you don’t understand what all-knowing or all-seeing mean. He’s got your kids covered and you should have secure faith in this if you did step one, get you covered, by the blood of Jesus Christ, that is, and clothed in righteousness. The main Scripture we have on this is God purposely puts David’s doctrinal statement about the death of his infant son and about where his kid is going. He clearly says the kid already is in the same place David is going when he dies. He says I will be with my kid again. Now a lot of people say this to feel good, but God put this one in His perfect Word, so we can trust it. So, David as a believer is assured that he will see his son again.
3. There are passages that suggest in the afterlife that spirits are knowledgeable and think as adults, not children and this goes for Heaven and Hell. So before you get some crazy notions about your winged babies crawling around heaven as cherubs like some Dollar General version of a Renaissance painting or sculpture or macabre and nightmarish fears of babies thrown into the pit of Hell, neither of those are true. P.S. We don’t get wings or become angels anyway. Not only do the Scriptures indicate that we are adult spirits, which really just means self aware, but there are zero mentions of babies or children in the afterlife. Not in any explanation of either afterlife or John’s Revelation. This is why the Catholics foolishly invented extra fake aftelifes like child limbo. They did out of both sentimentality and ignorance coming from a lack of careful study of the Scriptures. There doesn’t need to be a child limbo because the children of believers go to Heaven and also, they’re not children.
4. What about the children of unbelievers like the intensely wicked people before Noah’s Flood, or Sodom and Gomorrah or the firstborn killed in the Egyptian plague or most of the Canaanites or etc, etc, etc. Well, there are two key points here. If God hadn’t killed them in childhood, would they have been awe inspiring, faithful followers for God? Not hardly. Anyone that thinks that’s remotely possible would have to be the most glass-looks-bone-dry-empty but I-think-it’s-pretty-full, rose-visioned, foolish optimists in the world. In other words, don’t be a fool. Noah’s world was all wickedness all the time, and they would have eventually killed the one good family left, so God killed them first. Sodom was a bunch of power hungry corrupt perverts and rapists. Pharaoh’s firstborn son was going to become his father. He was his father’s son as the saying goes. What about after all those plagues and Pharaoh and his army obliterated in the Red Sea? Did the Egyptians that lived repent and turn to the one true God? No, of course not. Their children grew up serving their false gods and living and dying in wickedness. Generation after generation headed to Hell, dying in rebellion to the one, true God. None of these younger deaths were any different. Had they lived, they would have lived terribly like everyone else in their society. And they would have gone to Hell too.
So, why why would God give them eternal life when he had opted to take them out early to end the cycle of intense sin? The answer is a just God would not. That’s against God’s character. Some would say, but God is love. That’s not how love works, not perfect love. God gives people what they want. If they are searching for God, He finds them, all of them, leaves the 99 every time and always finds the one, but read all the passages about how the Pharisees were headed to Hell because they were not His sheep. Why would a loving God NOT spare kids from a judgement who were headed to Heaven anyways? He could have spared them at Jericho or got animals to bring them to Noah’s Ark somehow. It’s God. The only reason he would destroy them in judgement is if their grown up self, their adult soul was destined to stay condemned.
5. Why would any believer want a doctrine that sent all dead youngsters to Heaven or Hell automatically anyways. Think about it. If you gave some religious nut either idea, he might just go around killing kids to make one of those things happen. Oh, so I can make kids go to Heaven just by killing them? Jokes on you God, no one’s going to Hell now. Wow. Or the reverse. Tell crazies they can stop people from going to Heaven if they automatically go to Hell. Theological Doctrine Has Consequences. What if you make someone as a Christian overthink it? So, if I use zero birth control and have lots of kids, like twenty, then abort them all, I must be sending twenty new souls to Heaven. I can make sure my kids go to Heaven, just off them. Kids are going to go where they would’ve gone anyways had they been witnessed to. You can’t mass abort them or mass kill toddlers and send them to Hell and Heaven as a way of avoiding the need to decide their fate. They will go to most likely be with you when you die. So, where are you going? Back to step one again. Make sure you know, for sure.

Yes they do. After God killed David’s baby. He stopped fasting and praying and he said, he can’t go to me but I can go to him. David was a Christian, Aman after God’s own heart, so we know David went to heaven. The only place he could go to where is was was heaven. So that means his baby had to be there too. Anyone who doesn’t have the cognitive ability to make a decision about Christ, go to heaven when they die, meaning people who are retarded, people with sever intellectual disabilities, children who die before they come to the age of reason, which is different for every person but God who knows all things, know if a person has reached the age of reason or not. That’s the only good thing about abortion is the babies go to heaven. Once the mother’s egg is fertilized, we have an eternal being. Spirits are eternal. Every human being is a spirit, so he/she is eternal. There are only two places you can go in eternity:. Heaven or Hell, and at some point he’ll will be dumped into the lake of fire and brimstone. Jesus paid the price for all humans sin. But if one doesn’t ask for a pardon, it will be as if Jesus never died. A unclaimed pardon isn’t a pardon at all. In the 19th century, a President pardoned a man on death row. The death row inmate refused the pardon. This has never been done before so the case went to the Supreme Court. The Court rightly ruled that a refused pardon is the same as having no pardon at all and the inmate was killed by the state. God has given the government the right to kill people. The government is the only entity given this right by God.

Hebrews 11 gives you many examples of bible characters like Abraham, David, Moses, etc. who were saved by faith only through the GRACE of God. They were certainly not righteous of themselves or by following the Law. But God’s grace made them righteous.
I believe God extends this same Grace to babies and small children who die early. He is a LOVING GOD. Love is His best quality. If we who are humans pity the little children, how much more our Heavenly Father?
I believe that a living soul = body + spirit. Upon death, we are no longer a living soul, our body returns to the dust of the ground and the spirit returns to God. As a young child is a living soul, they therefore have not only a body but a spirit that returns to God, awaiting the resurrection.
12 But little children are alive in Christ, even from the foundation of the world; if not so, God is a partial God, and also a changeable God, and a respecter to persons; for how many little children have died without baptism!
15 For awful is the wickedness to suppose that God saveth one child because of baptism, and the other must perish because he hath no baptism.
