We are deeply saddened to announce that Dr. Paul L. Walker, former General Overseer of the Church of God, passed away today, February 23, 2021. Walker served as senior pastor of the Mount Paran Church of God in Atlanta for 37 years before being elected to serve as General Overseer in 1996. He was later elected back to the Executive Committee where he served as both Secretary General and Third Assistant General Overseer. He is also a former Chancellor of Education for the Church of God. Funeral arrangements will be announced as they become available. Please keep the Walker family, including his wife, Carmelita, their son, Dr. Mark Walker, and his grandchildren in your thoughts and prayers.
