Think back about 20 years ago or so. Can anyone remember what life was like then? It wasn’t really that long ago, but things in our culture then were pretty different than how things are today. Imagine freezing that timeframe in one’s memory while going to sleep only to wake up the next morning to the shocking way things are now!

Isaiah 5:20 “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”

Basically, it’s like this, “Welcome to the Freak Show,” where wrong is right, genders are haywire, evil is good, satanism is out in the open, morality is upside down, and the world is in utter chaos! Just like in the eerie Hotel California song lyric, “You can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave!” What kind of twisted and evil quote is that?

What a rude awakening that would be for one to recognize this reality, especially if it were ‘all of a sudden’! Hence the reason for the not-so-subtle ‘boiling frog method’ that we have been experiencing. It has been said that if a frog were to be put into boiling water all of a sudden, it would ‘high tail it right out of there,’ but if it is put into mild water and then gradually brought to a boil, it would not perceive what was happening to it and would end up being boiled to death!

2 Peter 2:7-9 “And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;) The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished.”

For example, think about the 1950s; from what I was told growing up as a kid before that timeframe, our consumer goods were usually packaged in glass or metal containers, but around the 1950s, things started to switch over to being wrapped and packaged in plastic films and containers which have shown to be toxic to our bodies! Hence, the correlation between our culture’s mass obesity problem and our societal decline in health, not to mention the rise in hormonal issues in both men and women as well! Can you say ‘depopulation agenda’ much?

While watching the 1975 Jaws movie several months ago, I also couldn’t help but notice how most of the people in the movie were really slender or slim compared to how most people look in movies nowadays. It no doubt has a lot to do with the depleted nutrients in our soil, chemicals in our environment, and xenoestrogens with the overuse of plastics, which are endocrine disruptors, btw. Whereas before the 1950s, things were way less toxic, with purer ingredients, healthier, and more organic overall.

Speaking of this ‘living nightmare freak show’ that we are in, it is even more disturbing to see someone we know, like, dislike, or love choosing to ‘self-destruct’ themselves due to this covert boiling frog method! It’s like they’ve taken all of the dumbing down, media deception, and lies of our cultural narrative, not to mention especially the lies of Satan himself, and swallowed it whole… ‘hook, line, and sinker,’ so to speak! And like the frog being boiled, they don’t even know or realize it, or maybe they do. Either way, it’s still utterly beyond sad to see it all play out for them!

This quote from the movie “God’s Not Dead” explains this example perfectly:

“Sometimes the devil allows people to live a life free of trouble because he doesn’t want them turning to God. Their sin is like a jail cell, except it is all nice and comfy, and there doesn’t seem to be any reason to leave. The door’s wide open. Till one day, time runs out, and the cell door slams shut, and suddenly it’s too late.”

Unfortunately, I could go on and on with this topic concerning “Welcome to the Freak Show” times that we are living in. What with all the wars, rumors of wars, famines, pestilences, earthquakes, wildfires, satanism, gender confusion, distortion of familial roles, the redefining of everything God ordained, weather manipulations, food recalls, financial upheaval, the selection… ahem… I mean election year, and on and on it goes! Yes, unfortunately, one would have much to talk about on this topic concerning our world today. “Welcome to the Freak Show” it so definitely is!

Apparently, this all signals the beginning of birth pangs, which has been going on for quite some time now. That is why we cry, “Maranatha!” which means “Come Quickly, Lord Jesus!” For only when we are absent from the body and present with the Lord (YHWH) will there be no more upheaval, birth pangs, crying, mourning, pain, mass dumbing down, and widespread freak show happening! All of the old and former things of this wretched life will finally be passed away… behold Jesus Christ will make all things new! That is what we hope, wait, and long for… that blessed and glorious day, our Jesus we shall see!

Until then, we are to put on the whole armor of God and stand firm in the message of the Gospel. We are to withstand the fiery darts of the devil by taking on the shield of faith. God’s Word is our strength, shield, and armor, brothers and sisters! Stand strong in the Lord (YHWH), for we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, powers, darkness, and wickedness in high places!

Just know that one day soon, this freak show life will all be over, and then we will finally be rejoicing with our true family with Jesus Christ in Heaven! Oh, what a beyond beautiful, exciting, and glorious day that will be! Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah!

Ephesians 6:10-18

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.”
