Israel will always be a thorn in the side of haters and detractors and those who dismiss the great, unfulfilled promises for Israel found in scripture. In fact, the Old Testament prophetic books are so full of prophecy, such as the coming Day of the LORD and the Restoration of Israel.
How alleged Christians can be so flippant about the Old Testament books amazes me, for some say they are irrelevant now that we have the New Testament, while others are so ignorant of them that when you begin to mention the great prophetic concepts, they think you talk some foreign language. This has been a great failing of preachers and denominations.
I would say to those who dismiss Israel and yet claim to be Christians, GO and seriously read the books of Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Zechariah carefully for starters, and note the hundreds of points referring to Israel under enemy threat and then its glorious restoration. Search for them in scripture.
Israel is well and truly in the news right now in April 2026, and God will not let the matter rest. The world will have no excuse. Those who oppose Israel have the curse of God on them. I am not being dramatic; not overstating it. This verse says it, and history proves it. Genesis 12:2-3 “and I will make you a great nation and I will bless you and make your name great, and so you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and THE ONE WHO CURSES YOU I WILL CURSE. In you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
The leaders of the world currently, mainly curse Israel – Starmer of Britain, Macron of France, very much Spain, Albanese and the Labor Party of Australia, the Democrats of the USA – all these have the curse of God upon them, for God is not mocked, and those who dare oppose Abraham’s seed will suffer the consequences.
The rising hostility of Europe towards Israel is no accident, for that will be the region of the 10-member State under Antichrist. It has come to the fore so quickly. Anti-Semitism is sweeping through this world.
However, those who bless Israel will be blessed. President Trump is upholding Israel and its protection, and I believe JUST FOR THE PRESENT, the USA will be blessed. I fear for the USA when Trump has gone, unless the Rapture happens very soon, as I think it will.
I want to add a poem later in this article. The poem looks broadly at the history of Israel, and, sad to say, Israel has been so wayward. It is as if the nation has never been able to walk the straight path, but some Christians are like that, too.
The poem traces Jewish failures and persecution over time, BUT has God forsaken His people? Here is a vital passage for those like Luther who wrote off the Jews and persecuted them badly – Romans 11:1-2 “I say then, God has not rejected His people, has He? MAY IT NEVER BE for I too am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. God has not rejected His people whom He foreknew. Do you not know what the Scripture says in the passage about Elijah, how he pleads with God against Israel?”
Another critical passage from Romans is this one – Romans 11:11-12 “I say then, they did not stumble so as to fall, did they? MAY IT NEVER BE, but by their transgression salvation has come to the Gentiles, to make them jealous. Now if their transgression be riches for the world and their failure be riches for the Gentiles, HOW MUCH MORE WILL THEIR FULFILLMENT BE!”
God took up the Gentiles because of Israel’s fall, so once the Gentile Church is removed in the Rapture, the Messiah turns again to Israel, and their fulfillment will be glorious.
Paul is very passionate about his ethnic people. Here is more of Paul – Romans 11:25-27 “Brethren, I do not want you to be uninformed of this mystery, lest you be wise in your own estimation, that a partial hardening has happened to Israel UNTIL THE FULLNESS OF THE GENTILES HAS COME IN, and thus all Israel will be saved just as it is written, ‘The Deliverer will come from Zion. He will remove ungodliness from Jacob.’ ‘And THIS IS MY COVENANT WITH THEM, when I take away their sins.’”
The fullness of the Gentiles will come in VERY, VERY soon. How glorious it will be for Israel when all ungodliness is removed from them.
MARTIN LUTHER
Sometimes I have a problem with putting certain facts in correct boxes, and some of the incongruities are hard to reconcile. Martin Luther became most hateful to Jews and persecuted them, calling for violence against them and openly advocating burning Jewish books and synagogues; he would recommend forced labor, expulsion and murder. The equivalent today would be a member or sympathizer of Hamas.
This is an Internet-generated comment on Luther – “Martin Luther did not personally kill Jews, but he wrote extensively against them and advocated for their persecution in his treatise “On the Jews and Their Lies,” which incited violence and contributed to anti-Semitic attitudes that led to violence against Jews in later centuries. His writings were later used by the Nazis to justify their actions during the Holocaust.”
The problem I have is that Luther cursed Jews and, therefore, is part of Genesis 12:3 – “THE ONE WHO CURSES YOU I WILL CURSE.” Yet Luther is recognized as part of the Protestant Reformation. How does the curse of God reconcile with faith for salvation? This is a paradox for me.
THE NEW COVENANT
NOTE THIS VERSE CAREFULLY – Romans 11:27 “And THIS IS MY COVENANT with them, when I take away their sins.” God has a covenant with Israel, but right now, they do not know it. That is the covenant sealed through the blood of Christ/Messiah.
Jeremiah 31:31-33 “’Behold, days are coming,’ declares the LORD, ‘when I WILL MAKE A NEW COVENANT WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL AND WITH THE HOUSE OF JUDAH, not like the covenant which I made with their fathers in the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, although I was a husband to them,’ declares the LORD. ‘But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel AFTER THOSE DAYS,’ declares the LORD, ‘I will put My law within them, and on their heart I will write it; and I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE.”
That covenant has already been made, which is the one concluded at the cross. Jesus told His disciples of the new covenant in His blood. That was for the Church, BUT that same sacrificial death on the cross that generated the New Covenant in His blood was also for Israel. It is not realized just yet for the nation, but the time is close.
The implementation of that new covenant will be this – Zechariah 12:10-11 “And I will pour out on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace and of supplication, so that they will look on Me whom they have pierced, and they will mourn for Him, as one mourns for an only son, and they will weep bitterly over Him, like the bitter weeping over a first-born. IN THAT DAY there will be great mourning in Jerusalem, like the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the plain of Megiddo.” In the prophetic books, the terms “in that day” and “at that time” ALWAYS refer to the times of the Tribulation and after, and NEVER before.
THE HYPOCRISY OF KING CHARLES III
This man, who constitutionally is my King (I am a citizen in the British Commonwealth, being an Australian), is not much better than the previous two evil, corrupt King Charles (I and II), who were murderous non-Christians.
On the 18th March 2026, this happened – King Charles III hosted a state banquet for Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu at Windsor Castle, celebrating the diplomatic ties between the UK and Nigeria. The event included 160 guests and featured special adaptations for Ramadan.
The banquet included special arrangements for Ramadan, such as a prayer room and a non-alcoholic cocktail named “crimson bloom,” made from Nigerian Zobo and English rose soda.
While King Charles was praising this murderous President, the great slaughter of Nigerian Christians was continuing and was especially bad during the banquet. The Nigerian President is part of that, as Islam is filled with satanic violence and hate against the followers of Christ. What a traitor Charles is!
At Easter, the King refused to give an Easter message for Christians, which he should have done as head of the Church of England. Instead, he issued a special message of support for Moslems in Ramadan.
Christians in Wales and England may be familiar with an outspoken Bishop. This is one report on this Bishop:
A bishop has exclusively told GB News about his concerns with the suppression of Christianity, as he called for King Charles to do “more” with defending the faith.
Bishop Ceirion H Dewar sent a letter to His Majesty outlining his worries, which he later published openly, receiving thousands of signatures supporting his message.
Speaking to the People’s Channel, Bishop Ceirion shared what he wants to see from the monarch in his role as the Supreme Governor of the Church of England.
He said: “My expectation is you made a vote to protect and defend the protestant form of religion, which in the United Kingdom is increasingly accelerating under attack.
King Charles is a traitor to the Christian faith.
THE POPE IS SATAN’S MAN
We all know the long line of Popes has been anti-Christian and huge persecutors of God’s true believers and Jews through many, many centuries. Just read Church History, where millions of believers under the Popes suffered persecution and death. Miller’s Church History. Foxe’s Book of Martyrs.
The current Pope is one of the worst. He is left-wing, an advocate of climate change and WOKE issues, a denier of biblical faith. Pope Leo is a lion for anti-Semitism.
The Pope hates the State of Israel and has come out in support of Iran. President Trump had something to say about that – “I don’t want a Pope who thinks it’s OK for Iran to have a Nuclear Weapon,” he wrote on Truth Social. “Leo should get his act together as Pope, use Common Sense, stop catering to the Radical Left, and focus on being a Great Pope, not a Politician.”
Pope Leo XIV issued his harshest condemnation of the Iran war yet, indirectly slamming the United States as a perpetrator of the “demonic cycle of evil” that is fueling the conflict. This is the greatest irony when the Pope terms the USA as the “demonic cycle of evil.” The man himself who sits in “Peter’s Seat” is Satan’s man in the monstrosity of wickedness in the church. He is a WOKE Pope.
This Pope went to Africa on a papal visit and did not once meet with Christians suffering persecution or go to their graves. This would also include numbers of Catholics killed by the sadistic, bloodthirsty Islamic Governments. Instead, he went to Morocco and laid a wreath on Moslem graves of the ones who overthrew the Catholic rulers in Morocco.
Over the years in prophetic books I have studied, some writers think the Pope will be Antichrist. That is incorrect. The Pope won’t be Antichrist even though the Pope is antichrist. Antichrist will arise from the EU, the UN, WEF, or the WHO most likely.
Neither will the Pope be the False Prophet, though the Pope is a false prophet. The False Prophet arises this way – Revelation 13:11 “I saw another beast COMING UP OUT OF THE EARTH and he had two horns like a lamb and he spoke as a dragon.” In scripture typology, the sea is a type of Gentile nations, while the land and the earth (the land) is Israel. It is believed that the False Prophet will be an apostate Jew. Of course, the Pope and the Vatican will run after the False Prophet.
THE CONTINUING FRACTURING OF NATO
In my last message, I mentioned the separation of the USA from NATO that was beginning to happen. That has continued quite quickly, and the European nations are becoming very anti-American. President Trump will be correct to get out of NATO because the USA has spent trillions on NATO while European members have done very little. Trump has indicated as much.
I said last time that the power structure of the Revived Roman Empire is Western Europe, NOT the USA. America has nothing to do with prophecy. It is not part of Europe. God is cutting the USA away from NATO.
CHINA AIMS AT WORLD DOMINATION AND HATE FOR ISRAEL
China extends its influence in the world. Only Trump stands against China’s expansion. Biden would not know if China was on the moon or Venus. Over recent days, it has come to light that China has a satellite mapping out all activity on American bases in the Middle East, and supplies Iran with the information. That is in addition to giving Iran thousands of missiles in the past 4 years, once Biden lifted Trump’s prohibitions in his first term.
Russia and China are enemies to democracy and numbers among those who hate Israel and are taking action against Israel. Russia will be part of the Gog war near the end of the Tribulation, and China will be part of the Kings of the east in Revelation 16 that come with demonic purpose to defeat Israel, also in preparation for the Battle of Armageddon.
World events are moving so rapidly, but so much is focused on Israel and will continue to do so. Earlier on, I mentioned a poem, and it is on Israel, so I will finish with that.
WHAT OF ISRAEL THE NATION?
“O, Israel, O Israel, how do I deal with you?”
God’s turmoil over His nation has been so sad.
They are a wayward people; always, it was true.
God looked for fruitfulness, but all He got was bad;
A stiff-necked people departing from what is right.
They served other gods, and willfully rejected
All that was wholesome, good and righteous in God’s sight.
By rebellion and sin, they were much infected.
The prophets they persecuted; some they killed.
They silenced God’s message by shutting up their ears.
Artemis and Moloch they worshipped as they willed,
Yet the patience of God extended over years.
Warning after warning they refused to accept,
Until such time that He expelled them from the land.
Nebuchadnezzar was the Lord’s servant adept
To punish that nation, which from the land was banned.
Abraham was promised all nations would be blessed,
And they have been through him, but by their deeds they failed.
God’s story ends not with failure, for God has stressed
A glorious future, though now in time still veiled.
Israel’s land has been restored now to some extent,
And gone, the two and a half thousand years of loss.
Their land is theirs, though Messiah is still absent.
They refuse to accept His sacrificial cross.
For two thousand years, the Jews have been sought; murdered
By Satan’s cohorts, evil, demonic agents.
They have been framed, tortured, pillaged, killed and perjured,
And hardly anyone ventured for their defense.
Disgraceful are those who have written Israel off,
And replaced the nation’s prophecies with the church;
Who deny their restoration, dismiss, and scoff,
And prate Replacement Theology from their perch.
But Israel has a wonderful future ahead.
In the Tribulation, God takes her up again.
Through sorrow and hardship she’ll pass, but then instead
Of defeat, Israel will great promises obtain.
Messiah comes as Lord of lords and King of kings
To establish in Israel His thousand-year reign.
Israel knows Messiah with healing in His wings –
Chief nation in all the earth that none will disdain.
