When a COG minister ask us to “speak life” what does he mean? That is a common cliche we hear often however what does it mean? Is there a negative connotation implied?

Is this a new form of Peale and Shuyler positive thinking? Is it new thought speech?

Can you “speak life” without speaking death to some one? Isn’t this speech control for church growth strategies?

The old COG spoke death with binding legalism and the new COG speaks life with a message of hope that says … God loves you and he has a plan for your life. Haven’t we heard this before? The baptist used to tell us this when we were a dead denomination!

  2. You’re speaking death, Man. Don’t question the institution! lol

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

there are COG prayer groups who are praying dominion over and against me. Are there prayer groups praying for me?

  5. Charles Page says:

No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.
