  1. Alan Saffer says:

Luke 10.17 The seventy-two returned with joy and said, “Lord, even the demons submit to us in Your name.” 18 So He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.

Satan was cast out before even man was created

I know this group has descended into a series of stupid questions but this one takes the cake. Are you seriously asking this or just trolling?

No stupid questions only arrogant retorts like Alan Parsons!
In answer to your legitimate question young in the faith note this.
Isa. 14:12-18 indicates that Satan’s fall was in the earth. I will ascend.
The Luke passage can be taken as a prophetic perfect as a reference to Revelation 12 which is yet future to us during the middle of the tribulation.
No dumb questions, only dumb arrogant commentators like Alan Parsons who would bar young Christians from the kingdom of heaven!

  7. Nikki Sheppick says:

The Book of Revelation answers this …. read chapter 12 …. read it closely, carefully and prayerfully ….

Why not just read the Bible before asking such basic questions…. Laziness

All of it happens perpetually. Has Satan fallen? Yes. Will he fall? Yes. Has Jesus defeated his enemies? Yes will he defeat his enemies? Yes. Did a third of the stars fall from heaven? Yes. Will they fall with Satan? Yes.

It’s a good question. It seems Satan has fallen but still has access to the throne room. Yet he has an ultimate fall in Revelation, if that’s still future.

  15. Steven Cox says:

Read the first couple chapters of Job, what does it say that the evil one is doing …. and will do …. till the Holy Ones war and cast him out …. into the earth …. for he knows his time is short …. ?

  24. Deborah Bray says:

At the Cross. That is when Jesus won the victory over sin and death: “Now is the judgment of this world; now the ruler of this world will be cast out. And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself.” This He said, signifying by what death He would die.” (John 12:31-33) The “lifting up” of Jesus on the Cross was the defeat and downfall of Satan. This is also recounted in The Revelation: “And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, and prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world; he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.” Revelation 12:7-10

Prior to this we know that Satan still had access to the throne as we see him in Job 2 coming in with the Jews and presenting himself before God. So Satan could still come before God and accuse God’s people. But once Christ shed his blood and laid down his life, the sins of God’s people were covered and Jesus sat down on the throne with the Father and is now the Great Mediator between God and man so Satan can no longer come before God and accuse God’s people of their sins, “though they be many.”

  27. Teo Castillo says:

One thing is just falling..and another thing is falling after a fight…. God’s power and authority in Heaven is unfightable…. They just fell….to the Earth…they were cast out… as the Book of Melkisedec reveals…. which i invite you to read…. That profechy is still to be fulfilled when Michael and His angels rise up again to fight the final battle on the 4th trumpet of the Apocalipse, and then on the 5th Cup of the Wrath, when all the stars and planets where must of those fallen angels live are destroyed…and when they finally fall to the Earth to be judged and destroyed by the Lord Himself when He appears in the clouds of the Sky for the final Battle of Armegeddon, in which all the powers of darkness of the Earth and the Universe will be finally destroyed forever. Amen.
