“Whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery”
Is this always true?
What if both the man & woman have been saved & given their lives to Jesus since?

I would say that it depends on if it is one of the reasons God allows for divorce, and/or if the other spouse has remarried.

God’s word doesn’t change Larry but when we give our lives to the lord we repent & are forgiven for our sins. If we weren’t aware of divorce being a sin before becoming Christian’s then is it irrelevant in this context?

Depends why the person divorced? If the person divorced a believer, and there’s an opportunity for reconciliation that should be the first step. If no opportunity for reconciliation or they were married to an unbeliever then you cant go back. True repentance for a divorce from a believing spouse would be going back to that spouse and working things out. Now if there was abuse involved or other things then it gets complicated as your spouse should still respect you.

The Scripture didn’t say Sometimes whosoever marries a divorced woman.
More so when it is in the New Testament more importantly spoken by Jesus.
This is not a parable it’s a plane language. Let’s the person take it as it is. -

Jesus, Salvation is a free ticket to eternity. Working out our salvation is our goal to living a prosperous life in christ. Why did they first had to file for a divorce? Second, Are they in quest for a better relationship or its just for self gratification? The truth is, it’s not biblical to separate or divorce. God authored a holy union the very day the two lay in their matrimonial bed. You can’t remarry after divorce and if you have to it should stimuline with the word of God.
