143 SAVED, 42 BAPTIZED WITH HOLY GHOST – April 19, 1930 – Dillon, S, C. – ” A wonderful meeting closed at Dillon, The Lord blessed all the way through. I never have seen the Lord work so wonderfully as He did in this meeting. One hundred and forty-three were saved, sixty-seven sanctified, forty-two baptized with the Holy Ghost, and forty-six added to the Church. Glory! Part of the time we did not get to preach. Seventeen were saved in one service. At the first song people began to fall in the altar and get saved. This revival started in Brother Parker’s home just at prayer meeting. Two preachers came into the church. I believe they will prove a blessing to the church. Cotton-mill people, town people, and country people were saved in this meeting. Tongue cannot express how the Lord did bless. People drove for miles to attend and receive the Holy Ghost. We are glad of our work over here. The people here are surely standing by us in every way.
