Because he is just. Because suffering pays for our sins and their consequences, it purify our souls, he also allows the breath we take every day, to be able to open our eyes and live everyday , because this is no paradise, because of the sins of Adan and Eve we allowed evil to rule this world, because we deserve death and God is merciful to keep us alive every day, because on earth we exposed ourselves to evil therefore we have to choose and exercise our free will, and so many more reasons.

Why does God allow suffering?
The short story is that we live within a sin-sick world. Evil, suffering, pain, and disease comes with it.

Suffering was NEVER supposed to be part of the world since God put Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden, which was the perfect world. Man brought suffering into the world when Adam AND Eve chose to disobey God and actually eat the fruit of knowledge of good and evil. The MOMENT they actually ate the fruit (not the moment they were tempted because being tempted is NOT sinful), they brought sin into the world through disobedience to God. Many say “it was just an apple”, but it’s not a question of what kind of fruit it was, it’s the act of disobedience to the only true and perfect God. THAT is what brought sin into the world. Man was actually kicked OUT of the garden never to return again. The choice to disobey God was based on the gift of free will, which God gave mankind from the start. While he trusts us to make the right choice and embrace and accept His principles and values, He loves us so much that He gave us free will to make the choice to accept or reject Him. Free will is extremely important because true love is ONLY expressed in free will. Since man is trusted with free will, this obviously means that we are fully free to reject what God has done for us on the cross, before the cross and ever since. The MOMENT that mankind disobeyed God (by virtue of the flesh since Adam and Eve wanted to be like God) Satan was granted power to do what he wants to do, but ONLY based on what God allows. So God allows suffering, but in countless cases the suffering is used to either test the faith of the believer (as in Job) OR to bring a non-believer to Christ. I hope that makes sense.

We live in a sinful, fallen broken world that is the domain of the evil one

Without suffering there can be no compassion. There an be no grace and essentially no faith. And without it we as Christians would not grow in our faith. If you considered no suffering to being like on a mountain top it’s exhilarating and you are just on this high for God which is great and well needed. But very little grows on top of a mountain. But in the valley even though it can be hard to be low and in suffering. There is much growth when you go to a valley. Suffering reminds us just how much we need God and how little we are.

Why does a parent allow their child to make mistakes? To learn and to grow. You can tell a child the stove is hot, but sometimes they will keep trying. So they need to burn their hand to understand

Without suffering, we would be living in paradise. Even in paradise man would fail. Adam and Eve failed.

Why does God allow human suffering? So that a greater good can come out of it! Jesus is our model. His entire life was suffering. Apostle Paul also. And suffering helps us crucify our flesh and earthly desires. It is part of our journey to Heaven. If we can have a humble attitude about our suffering and offer it up in prayer for the salvation of souls, and minister to others who are suffering, then we do the good work of Jesus’s ministry on earth.

Lots of reason. We live in a fallen world. In the flesh we are sinful and the world is cursed because of our(adams) sin.
But there is power in our suffering for the lord. We are put in to trials and tribulations to Learn to better rely on God.
Paul prayed to the Lord to remove the thorn of his flesh but God said no and used it to keep him humble. Paul was used to author 13 of the new testament books. Inclusing acts twentey of those chapters chronicle his life full of suffering for the Lord and for his faith. -
Pain is not evil, it alerts us that something is wrong and must be attended to. All suffering comes from sin, individual as well as corporate.

Think of it like doing a fitness workout. When we are putting our muscles under extreme stress from the workout, we are tearing our muscles apart. It hurts, and we don’t want to feel that pain. But after a few days, our muscles come back a little bigger, and a little stronger. God works us out in the same way. He gives us these hard trials so that we can become stronger and better people than we were yesterday.

Because any place outside God‘s realm is supposed to be full of suffering. Earth is a place outside God‘s realm ever since Adam was kicked out of Eden. Earth would have been with more suffering if it was not because God‘s Elect His sheep is still here on earth. Those believe no God will be living in a realm with no God. A place is literally a hell in the absence of God without His continuous maintenance.
God no longer maintains the physical aspects of this world. His job of priority here is to save souls. That‘s why earth is referred to as a wilderness where God‘s is scattered. A wilderness is a place of suffering as everyone may fall victim to someone stronger. -
God created everything in complete perfection, it was when Adam and Eve sinned that suffering began because not only was mankind affected, the earth became a dangerous hostile place to dwell as well. Not only that, each human life thereafter became a tragedy that ends in death because satan is the prince of this world we live in, and believe me, satan’s world is nothing but suffering.
