Born again Christians

Believers
You’ll have to ask a Calvinist. They have the secret list. Lol
Those who choose Christ in my opinion. God sees from beginning to end & knows who choose for Him.
“whosoever..”?
In the bible, the term is used in three ways to the refer to: (1) Israel (Isa. 45:4); (2) Jesus Christ (Isa. 42:1); (3) the church/born again christians (Eph. 1).
God’s chosen people who were written by Him in the Lamb’s book of life before the foundation of the world.
The jews are Gods chosen people. He came to the gentiles becouse his people rejected him. Sobifbthe elect are his choicen people. It means that even his own people will be deceived
The Westminster Confession of Faith:
VI. As God has appointed the elect unto glory, so has He, by the eternal and most free purpose of His will, foreordained all the means thereunto.[12] Wherefore, they who are elected, being fallen in Adam, are redeemed by Christ,[13] are effectually called unto faith in Christ by His Spirit working in due season, are justified, adopted, sanctified,[14] and kept by His power, through faith, unto salvation.[15] Neither are any other redeemed by Christ, effectually called, justified, adopted, sanctified, and saved, but the elect only.[16]

EPH 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: 5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will. 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. 2TH 2:13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth.
[13] 1TH 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, 10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him. TIT 2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
[14] ROM 8:30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. EPH 1:5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will. 2TH 2:13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth.

For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him. 65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father. 10:26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. 8:47 He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God. 1JO 2:19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
That is all folks your answer is always the word bible always interpret bible
The church/believers. The church is the elect. Jesus is coming back for his bride which is the church.
Christ is coming back to get his people which is called the rapture. Paul thought in his time that the rapture is coming.
Christ will rapture his people then the 7 year tabulation will start.
God doesn’t want his people to experience his wrath.
Let see .. HIs people ,The Sheep , Those that are called , those that are drawn , his friends , those that are scattered, His bride , His church, tribe and nation , ALL THE BELIEVING are the ELECT ..
His elect are those He knew would accept Him according to His foreknowledge. The elect are those who are in Christ. God was not willing that any perish. Christ’s sacrifice was available for any and all who would accept the free gift of salvation. The elect are those who accept the free gift. There is biblical basis for all of this. I do not believe the elect are a select group of people who won a salvation lottery and were predetermined to do so. That would mean the Bible would be wrong when it says “whosoever” “any” and “all”.
The elect are those God chose from before time.
The elect are those God foreknew will choose to follow Him.
Those who respond to Gospel call, regardless of religion, or race.
Revelation 13:8 answers your question and the more time you spend in the Word the more you will with the Holy Spirit’s help just simply thank God that He has saved you. Also, consider Jesus’ words in Luke 10:20.
From what i know the elect are the ones who understand the events of the end times, those who will stand against the Anti Christ in the last days of this Earth Age.
The “elect” are the whosoever will that have received Jesus Christ as their Lord and have been born again.
Born again Christians.
We are all the elect. Some just choose not to choose God back. Their names are blotted out of the Lambs book of life.
The one who Choose Jesus Christ as their personal Savior
The Elect and the church are the same..
Eklektos/Eklesai

Those who God chose and predestined for salvation before the world was
Eph 1
The elect are those who God chose for salvation from the beginning of creation because he foreknew that they would not willfully resist the message of the gospel when they heard it.
the ones who believe
I have been preselected for such a time as this!
Jesus’ people
Some people cant Handel Roman’s chapter 9 it appears like God is not fair. The broader doctrine is the sovereignty of God. He choses who he wants to save before they are born. In Roman’s 9:18 it says Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy.
Thou will say unto me why does he yet find fault who has resisted his will ?
vers 20 Nay but O man who art thou that repliest against God Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it why has thou made me thus. God is the owner we have no right to question God it is pride that does so. When God says Who art thou O man
The answer depends on the context of the verse. The word translated into ‘elect’ is first found in Isaiah referring to God electing Israel for the proclamation of His commands and the bringing forth of the Messiah. Other passages refer to Christ being the chosen servant or the elect of God. In Roman’s 8 and 9, paul is referring to the election of the people of Israel like first found in Isaiah.
The bride of Christ, the ones that shall inherit the new Jerusalem.

His People His Sheep –
Psalm 100:3 King James Version (KJV)
3 Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Sanctified, purified and Justified.
The Elect are those chosen before the foundations of the world. To be saved. This happened in Eternity Past.
Those who follow Christ
The idea of people being predestined for salvation and others for hell, originated from Augustine. Who, for the majority of his life believed in gnosticism. Salvation from knowledge. He took some of that with him into christianity and formed a theology that John Calvin took off with. It comes down to who God is. Is He a God that predestines people to hell (which you find nowhere in scripture) or is He a God who desires for all men to know Him and be saved (which is in scripture) 1 Timothy 2:4
If calvinism is correct, then nonbelievers have the greatest excuse in the world.
“We hate because He first hated us”
Those who will be saved.
As you can see Josie. The majority of confident Christians still have no clue what they’re talking about ?
