Has HIS kingdom ever been on earth? Or, have we been taught to believe it has through the precepts of men? According to these scriptures HIS kingdom is not of this world and never has been..
What scriptures denote HIS kingdom has been on earth post HIS mortal life?

[36]Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

[17]And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.

  1. Paul Brown says:

The Kingdom of God is inside all those who belong to it.

  2. Ikenna Anioji says:

By the figure of synecdoche, the Lord Jesus spoke of his presence on earth as the presence of the kingdom of God, being that He is the king of that kingdom. But the full or literal arrival of the kingdom is clearly going to happen at the second coming.
Those who say that the kingdom of God is within humans, if they mean it literally, are only mistaken on the true meaning of the passage in Luke 17:20-21.

  3. Corey Matthew says:

The Kingdom could have been in this world on that first Palm Sunday when Christ presented himself as the Messiah to the Jewish people however they rejected him.

But scripture tells us after the Tribulation, Christ will return with his saints, descend upon the mount of olives splitting it in two, slaying the wicked, and establish his literal 1000 year kingdom from Jerusalem.

After the great white throne judgement which proceeds the millennial kingdom
the new heaven and new earth, that great city, will descend from heaven. Man will dwell in the direct presence of God once again for the very first time since before the fall

Another example of the ambiguity and conflicting views within a church divided over the nature of the kingdom.

  5. Paul Gray says:

Jesus in you ( the Holy Ghost) the hope of glory!
