God created the universe in six days is this refering 24 Hours and 6 literal days ?

Yes. It is often refered to in other pleaces in Scripture with that understanding.

Its debated. In the Bible a day could mean when the sun is out(12 hours) a regular day(24 hours) also it could mean 1000 years or could even be used as a period of time “back in my day”.

Litterally, the Hebrew says “Day one,” “day two,” etc.

Why does Jesus take Genesis 1–2 as teaching history (Matthew 19:4; Mark 10:6)?
Why does Paul take it as history (Romans 5:12; 1 Corinthians 11:8–9; 15:21–22; 15:45; 1 Timothy 2:12–14)?
Why do nearly all world-class Hebraists assume that the writer of Genesis intended normal days and the text as history?
Why did the ancient, medieval, and modern church—until about 1800—have few commentators (if any) who believed in an ancient universe?
Why do all of the ancient translations and paraphrases, such as the Aramaic Targums, take the words at face value and translate them as “days,” with no hint that they might mean “ages” in Genesis 1?
Why is there little or no classical Rabbinic support for an ancient universe?
Why are there well-qualified PhD scientists who still support physical data as consistent with a young-earth view?

Everything else is correct in the Bible. Why question it? If He had the supernatural ability to create it, He could have created it in 3 literal (24 hour) days.

Actually research says 1 day= 7000 years give or take

Heres two sites from both aspects: Old Earth – http://www.godandscience.org/ and https://reasons.org/ Young earth – https://answersingenesis.org/ and https://www.icr.org/ I would say that none of these sites advocate for Macro Evolution and all believe that no matter how old the earth is, that God created it and is sovereign and holding all things together.

I believe it the 6 days were 24 hour days. God created time itself, He is outside the constraints of time. And the scriptures say nothing is impossible for God.

YES and on the Seventh Day He rested. Not on the 7000 day? or the 1000 day? He rested on the Seventh Day. This is why the Seventh day is Holy and not the 70th day or the 77th day? Or the 7000th day?

Yom = 24hr day. This helps >>>> The Hebrew yom occurs 2,282 times outside Genesis 1. It occurs 359 times with a number outside Genesis 1. Some of these occurrences use cardinal numbers (one, two, three, etc.) and some use ordinal numbers (first, second, third, etc.). However, in all 359 cases, the context clearly shows that a 24-hour day is being referenced.
Yom occurs 19 times outside Genesis 1, together with either the word “morning” or “evening.” In all 19 cases, a 24-hour day is clearly intended.
The words “morning” and “evening” occur together, without “day” 38 times outside Genesis 1. Each of these occurrences refers to a literal 24-hour day.
Finally, the Hebrew yom occurs with the word “night” 53 times outside Genesis 1. Guess what! Each of these occurrences refers to a 24-hour day.
Given this immense contextual evidence, one is tempted to ask somewhat flippantly, “What could God have done to emphasize that the days of Genesis 1 are literal 24-hour days? Might I suggest that He could have used the Hebrew yom together with numbers, morning, evening or night? And that is exactly what He did!

Yes. But for Him it’s 6,000 years or more. He can expand and contract time, or do millions of years of work in a minute.

I believe that it’s in God’s hands to decide. God created everything in the order He chose. Whether he did it in a day, 100 years, or whatever is God’s decision, and I’m in no position to question what or how He did it.

look at the word for “6 days” in the walls of  Jericho passage and compare it to the word for days in genesis 1

God is not limited by time, and nothing Biblically states any description of what time means to God regarding actual minutes, hours, etc.

Yes, 6 literal days. To say it took longer as a Christian is to question how powerful God is.
I take all the Bible as absolute, I can’t take parts of the Bible call it truth and then some parts as flawed information. -
Literal 6 x 24 hour days. What’s the problem? I find it funny that people find it plausible for a God to speak things into existence, but to do it quickly is nonsense .

and therefore we have the 7 day week…..as it continues today. 6 days He did His work and on the seventh day He rested. Do likewise…..follow Jesus Christ’s example.

The world was created in 6 literal 24hrs days. Day in Hebrew is yom which is 24hrs. The same word was used when the Israelites were commanded to work for 6 days(yom) and rest from work on the 7th. Bible mentioned clearly to elaborate in Genesis that ‘there was evening and there was morning’ Don’t let the evolutionists confuse you

Yes! That passage defines how long a day is “one evening and one morning”. Moreover, the whole sabbath principle was based on the days of creation being six, 24-hour days.

It describes a day using the sun going up and down. So I say yes.

I am NOT dogmatic BUT pragmatic about it and Yes, oh! Yes, it is TRUE. Just like THAT. In SIX CONSECUTIVE DAYS. So, our Almighty God created ALL in JUST six days. Hence our Lord God is Almighty (Revelation 1:8).
