How sure are you that when you die you will go to Heaven??

I’m pretty sure the Bible says that when you die this first physical death that you don’t go straight to Heaven.

I am NOT heaven orientated but earthly so. Our Lord Jesus Immanuel Christ taught us (Matthew 6:10). And as long as He has NOT come again I will hold on to (Hebrew 11:1) in Him UNTIL (John 14:1-4).

I believe in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, that He is God incarnate, and on what He accomplished at Calvery. Therefore, I am indwelled by The Holy Spirit and have the assurance of eternal life in Heaven.

I’m sure I won’t. Once our neurons stop firing, we stop firing. Our consciousness can’t exist without its physical correlates. My brain death will end the stream of consciousness and its associated memories that I think of as “me”, though there will be plenty of other streams of consciousness and memories in other people. There will be life after death, but “I” won’t be part of it.

I’m absolutely positive that I won’t. Nobody will. Nobody has…you have to be resurrected when you die. That veil happen at the return of Christ.

I find it interesting that we here, Christians all know we are going to heaven when we die based on the words of Jesus. We are the one true church invisible that jesus died for. Then we will have the Roman Catholics pop up here and tell us quite smugly that they are the one true church, list the 754 page catechism on how to get to heaven and then say they dont even know if they will get into heaven after the suffer in purgatory because they dont know if they have enough good works. What a sad system. So indoctrinated. I thank Jesus almost every day that he saved me from that man made religion..
