  1. Jake Bello says:

Enoch was a walker not a writer. hehe

  2. Garrett StClair says:

Because it wasn’t written by Enoch. It wasn’t written until about the third century BC and Enoch lived about 2200 BC

  3. Anthony Pomeroy says:

Right the message in the book of Enoch was just handed down verbally from the time of Noah till they actually wrote it on manuscripts. However this doesn’t necessarily denounce the book as of no value. It’s just not a book to be used as an inspired context like the books of the Bible. More along the lines of a study aid or reference book. I believe a lot of what’s in the book of Enoch helps fill in gaps that the Bible doesn’t cover.

  4. Mark Hazzard says:

Because it contains inaccuracies and contradictions.

  5. Joseph Nyundu says:

    Ask the holy spirit.

  6. No Than Luai says:

    He did not write.
It was uninspired as of our 66 books

  7. Jared Hamilton says:

    It’s not his book.

  8. Westley Henry says:

The book of Enoch claims that’s after God took Him up, he came back.
Genesis says God took up Enoch “and he was no more”. The book of Enoch contradicts the truth of scripture.
Also, the book was clearly not written by Enoch… The dates don’t line up anyway.

  9. Mervyn Queeley says:

I’ve listened to extracts from this “Book of Enoch” which concentrate on the Angelic fall. I really want understand more.

  10. David Holmes says:

who “said” there was a book ????

  11. Braden Roth says:

The Book of Enoch has five parts:

    1. The Book of Watchers, composed in the third century BCE.
    2. The Book of Similitudes, composed in the first century CE.
    3. The Astronomical Book, composed in the third century BCE.
    4. The Book of Dream Visions, composed during the Maccabaean revolt, 165-160 BCE.
    5. The Epistle of Enoch, composed in the early second century BCE.

Since Enoch lives around 2200 BCE, and the Book of Enoch was written over a period of 400 years, beginning in the third century BCE, it clearly was not written by Enoch, who lived 365 years on earth.

But there’s no answer to your question. You ask why the Book of Enoch was removed from the Bible, but the fact is, it wasn’t removed. It was never included in the first place, so it isn’t possible for it to be removed. So I can’t tell you why it was removed, because it wasn’t. But if you want to know why it isn’t included, just read the above.

  13. Charles William says:

Because his name spelled backwards sounded too much like a swear word in the original language and it has been said that once it is seen it cannot be unseen.

  14. Philip Davis says:

Not a great answrr here but think about it…just another book to add to the list of books most christians don’t study. I do believe God has given us what we need…anything more would just deter us from studying His Word

  15. David Chase says:

    Not inspired!

  16. Edward Aidoo Taylor says:

    Did he write a book?

  17. Don Fleury says:

It prophesied the coming of the books of the Bible but was not to be a part of it. It is mentioned several times in the Bible. It is a very good book. It goes into more detail than a lot of the Bible accounts.

  18. Ole Msondoro says:

Deut 29 ;29 thats all for now.
If enoch book was writen ,would it make us love the lord more ?? Would it help me to deny self more ? I think God has revealed what needs to be revealed the rest we shal ask When we get to heaven

  19. Harold Goldman says:

I walk with god and I have no book

  20. Gwendolyn Benthul says:

Enoch was never part of the Bible and isn’t divinely inspired. It was a novel written during the silent period from God from Malachi to John the Baptist.

  21. Josh Payne says:

The Book of Enoch is thought to have been written sometime between 94-64 BCE which is far removed from the historical time that Enoch lived. The Book of Enoch was definitely not written by Enoch and is considered to be pseudepigrapha, a forgery. You can read the Book of Enoch for fun or to learn about the culture and thought of Jews during the intertestamental period.

  22. Billy Myers says:

Too much evidence that the book was not written by Enoch.

  23. David Mogalane says:

The scholars decided to remove it when Noah spoke to lamauel his late grand father asking him about the scary dream that was about the flood which will end the world.. So they decided not to put it on the bible because they thought it will encourage necromacy( talking to the dead) and ancestral worship

  24. Bob Jones says:

No it was not removed from the Bible it was never in it to begin with, and it was not included because it is not inspired of God, it is not the only book not included and for the same reasons.

  25. Kevin Moldenhauer says:

    1. The authorship cannot be established and is believed to be falsely attributed to Enoch.

    2. It was never truly considered scripture by the early church.

    3. The book of Enoch is never referred to as scripture by Jesus nor any new Testament writer.

  26. David Harley Prince says:

Because it was not quoted by Jesus or the apostles, which every other OT book is. That was one of the standards used to determine cannon.
Also Enoch was antediluvian(pre-flood), the antediluvian world was completely destroyed except for Noah and the Ark.
Anything attributed to Enoch cannot be verified

  27. Jerry Pierre says:

    He walked too slow

  28. Matt Stewart says:

    I’ve always wondered that myself

  29. Chrispine Lupupa Junior says:

It is there and very rich …

  30. Benjamin Strong says:

    It’s Quoted in the Bible
    Hence
    It’s true

    Why wasn’t it acceptable?

    Very simply

    Lilith

The Jews who said what is acceptable and not could not accept the truth that Adam had a first wife

    Jews believed this for years
Even hence why the Bible says that the Christians burned their magic books, this is because they practiced something like kabulla today and it involved magic pendants that protects from Lilith

The idea that demons are real
And that a woman rejected Gods word and created all these beasts from mating with fallen angels.

Just makes the story screwed up eh?

It’s true and “convincing” doesn’t need to happen.
Most witches get their power from Lilith and her beasts (personal experience)

    But it looks bad
    God creates man and woman
    Woman won’t submit
So she has sex with demons
Second woman he made out of man
    So she has to submit
She is too gullible that she listens to the devil to screw it all up

    Why wasn’t Adam “punished”
Eve was told to submit to her husband (the only commands given to woman until the Ten Commandments, guess blow jobs weren’t illegal until Baptist’s, ha)

Eve was punished that she can’t preach
And she will have birth pains

    Adam??
    Boldly took the fruit
    Knowledge and good and evil
    He deliberately defied god

But only punishment was he had to work???
    Oh he’s gotta sweat ?

But she is his servant and has physical pain?

It’s because one woman already rejected Adam
And the second was too dumb to not follow instructions

So now Adam has soul bonded with two women

He had no option to eat of the fruit ?.

    She was deceived
    Not him

  31. Bobby Michaels says:

Everyone that walks with God and authors a book don’t get published in the Bible. Why is that?

  32. Regina Angcao Dizon says:

With our 3 pounds brain, we can not comprehend ‘plausible’ principles like this, especially if it’s only a conjecture.

  33. Bob Corbett says:

because his book wasnt part of the Bible to begin with.

  34. David Maggs says:

why are people obsessed with the book of Enoch.

  35. David Maggs says:

it was not removed,it was never accepted as part of the bible.

  36. Elijah Ayuago says:

Go and look at when Enoch died and when his book first surfaced. Look at the year difference between the two events and ask yourself why. Also, examine the historical background of today’s “Book of Enoch” and investigate for yourself why Hebrew old testament rabbis never accepted it as canonical.

  37. Olivaire Watler says:

    Because he didn’t write it?

  38. Jereme McAlpin says:

It was never his book. It openly contradicts Genesis. If the book of Enoch is true, then Genesis cannot be.

  39. Whitney Clark says:

We are not worthy of it?

  40. Isaiah Hess says:

My name is Isaiah, and I write stuff. Why isn’t it included in the Bible with the rest of the book of Isaiah?

  41. Larry Lauersdorf says:

I recall Enoch stating an Angel was moderating for humans which only Jesus can do.

  42. Simon Henry says:

Well in Genesis Enoch himself just disappeared, so obviously his book would do the same thing. Enoch’s book is “walking with God: and is no more [part of the canon]; for God took it” 😉

  43. David Chase says:

    Book was not inspired!

  44. Tamera Lewan says:

The NT book of Jude, it mentions Enoch.

  45. Fe Clardy says:

The book of Enoch has nothing to do with Salvation.

  46. Kenny Wong says:

Because the book contents are not from him to stand a valid testimony, though it holds some values on reflecting the ancient Jewish concepts.

  47. Johnathon Morris says:

Who wrote the book of Enoch? We are certain that Enoch existed and God took him, but the book of enoch is not inspired by the Holy Spirit. Remember God is perfect, He perfectly preserves His Word so we can know it.

  48. Arthur Adam Haglund says:

It was never part of the Bible. The two or three ‘books of Enoch’ were all fakes proved to be so.

  49. Jo Kelechi says:

So did Stephen and many other godly men.. but they did’t have a books either.. talk more of adding them to scriptures.. the Holy Spirit inspires we ought to be glad we even have some to read.. who is man to say what gets in or not.. especially given its proven to not be God-breathed
