I have a question. Its just something that crossed my mind. So it says that we will rule and reign with Christ. Who do we rule and reign over? Is this the rewards thing. Will those who get more of a reward rule over the ones who don’t get much reward? Probably a silly question but I do often wonder about it 🙂

    Something I’ve thought about

  3. James Clark says:

probably the unsaved people outside, that’s the millennial

  4. John Campbell says:

National Israel will rule this realm over those that are saved during the tribulation during the millennial reign. The body of Christ rule over the angels in heaven..remember a 1/3rd. followed Satan here.

  5. Buck Rogers says:

I think of it more as ruling over the Creation. Just like when Adam & Eve were given co-regency of Earth. It was given to us to take care of. Just by inhabiting it and caring for it, we rule over it. I tend to think of it more along those lines than the idea that we’ll have subjects. I just think it means we will do the same (with Jesus present this time).

  6. Matt Joseph says:

I’m not too sure but what I think is that before the end times the actual ruler ON earth is Satan. The world is satans. Maybe it means when satans defeated Jesus will rule ON earth

  7. David Maggs says:

    rule and reign over sin.

  8. Dale Kitchen says:

Well live where it will be perfect. There will be no reason to rule or be ruled we will live in perfect harmony with Him and each other. It’s more of a proclamation of victory than some kind of hierarchy. Different dimension, different everything, nothing like life down here.

    This is’t an apologetics question.

  10. Mark James Paguntalan says:

Speaks about being a Faithful Servant of Christ here on earth if you become Faithful steward and servant our Lord Jesus Christ grant you to rule over his house hold and to judge over his people.

    Matthew 24:45-51 KJV

[45] Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

[46] Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

[47] Verily I say unto you,

?That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.?

    [48] But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;

    [49] And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;

[50] The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

[51] And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

    Luke 22:25-32 KJV

[25] And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors.

[26] But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.

[27] For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth.

[28] Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations.

[29] ?And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me; ?

[30] That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom,

?and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.?

[31] And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:

[32] But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

We as people wants always to rule over somebody we don’t want somebody rule us wether we accept or not we have an attitude of that but in the verse above speaks and give example of how we should rule we should rule as Christ Jesus rule he is the best example of humbleness he wash the feet of his disciples. He lower down himself many Biblical account you may read. Before we look into that on how’s to rule on the judgment we should look at the big picture what are the conditions on it.

It’s a good question I don’t mind answering. We will reign with Christ and the angels for the next millennium when he rules on Earth. Humans when we get our new glorified bodies) will be above the messenger angels in rank. Jesus said we will judge with him.

  12. Grant Reedy says:

No Jews, Gentiles. Male or female, bond or free, we are one in the will and purpose of God.

Although I haven’t studied the scriptures, my initial impression from scripture I think is related to the 1000 year reign of Christ.

There is a great multitude who comes through tribulations, number unknown, though millions is possible.
I think the elect will help bring the Multitude will help bring them to the knowledge of God during that time.

How many people could you manage and teach successfully?
    Some 100, some 60, or som 30?
A good skilled teacher might handle 30 students, most people can’t manage 3 kids of their own lol.

Like I said I haven’t studied this topic, though that’s the impression I’m getting at the moment.
    Thanks.

Angel Hutchings Without going into a lot of detail:

During the Millennium [The 1,000 year reign of Christ] Christians will be appointed positions of leadership. Having received resurrected bodies with a sinless nature, we will now be fit for leadership roles.

Also, there will be those who enter into the period of this Reign, but in their natural bodies (having survived the Tribulation period) and they will give birth to children who will be taught the word of God.

    Revelation 7:14-15
14 And I said to him, “Sir, you know.”

So he said to me, >>>***“These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation<<<, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 Therefore they are before the throne of God, >>>and serve Him day and night in His temple.<<< And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them. Per Scripture, Christians who are saved and have already received resurrected / perfected bodies are not in marriages. It appears that these***, still in their natural bodies, having not died yet, are in a service role, while those who have received their eternal bodies will be the ones appointed to leadership roles. Revelation 5:10 And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth.” The “rewards thing” you’ve addressed, is the Bema (The Judgment Seat of Christ) which is for the saved, ONLY, unlike the Great White Throne Judgment (which is for the unsaved, ONLY). If you’d like it, I have a Study on the Bema vs. The GWT Judgment. It’s surprising how many Christians don’t know that there are 2 separate Judgments!

  14. Mike Bellsmith says:

We may be ruling over heaven

1 Cor 6:2-3. Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is to be judged by you, are you incompetent to try trivial cases?
3 Do you not know that we are to judge angels? How much more, then, matters pertaining to this life!

  15. Matthew Kennedy says:

    Rule over the rocks.

  16. Martha Merritt says:

The church saints will rule and reign with Christ in the millennium..

  17. David Stacks says:

Will rule in Heaven with christ the greatest rule of all.not literally meaning will rule over any particular thing.
