I think most Christians like and choose the King James Bible, because it’s not from the Catholic Church which has a very bloody and uncomfortable history.
The truth is, there are a lot of uncomfortable facts about the King James Bible as well.
Whether there is a copyright or there is not a copyright who care what are you trying to prove here is that they are the one’s idea that what they want to put into it and what they want to take from it. The King James version is well known for being heavily redacted. In the 400 years of its existence, the Catholic church has never called it an official version of the Bible.
Did you read his conclusion? Also, nobody owns the bible. Its God’s word. They may own paper to print it on but they don’t own the message or the other translations that don’t borrow from them. (NASB, ESV, NLT etc.). The biblical moral laws are on our hearts from birth (we knew lying was wrong without our parents telling us). The message of christ would take a bit but I’m pretty sure without access to a printing press the message of salvation would get to us.

The KJB is over 400 years old, and still going strong on its original translation. The KJB is the standard as the written Word of God. The modern translations acknowledge this by leaving verses blank and adding footnotes to indicated to its readers where they fall short of this standard.
This article declares among others, the nasb as being a better translation. This book has had 10 copyrights, which means this book has changed 10 times in its short life, to qualify for 10 different copyrights!! This book decided to go against its many different self and modern translations to start adding the scriptures that has long been left out of this book, as well as continues to be missing from the many of the modern translations.
Scholars have said in past that “older and best manuscripts “ did not have these verses. Then when that didn’t work, they started saying that the KJB translators added these verses.
In over 400 years the KJB has never changed itself to conform to these modern translations nor added notes to declare to its readers where they fall short of the modern translations….No, only the modern translations are constantly changing, to be as close to the standard(KJB) as they can without jeopardizing their copyrights.

The cruelty and false hope of Christianity nearly killed me. As a teenager I was bullied for my sexuality, by a group of my Christian peers who I thought were my friends. In the name of your God I was called all kinds of horrible things to my face and behind my back. They call it righteous judgment, but that doesn’t make it right. The whole time this was going on, my mother was in and out of the hospital dying from cancer. Despite my repeated sincere prayers for more time with my mother, she died three days before my 18th birthday. I probably could have handled what was going on at home, or what was going on at church and school, but not both at the same time. I learned a lot when I was in treatment for severe anxiety, depression and a failed suicide attempt. I think I have every right to be here, but ultimately the administrators will make that decision.
I will give you an example just how fast a myth can be started.
A girl I know was being harassed by a boy in school. She said you just made my Hit List to the boy. The boy told a teacher’s aide, the teacher’s aide told a teacher, the teacher told the principal, the principle called the police. There was a huge investigation hundreds of students were interviewed, by the end of it, detectives had nearly 200 kids on her alleged hit list that never existed. It was just a stupid comment she said one time to a boy who was harassing her. People want to feel like they are a part of something big, no matter how small it is in reality.
The Bible No Matter Who’s Publisher Is That Is Still A Bible The Word Of God For The Salvation Of That Monarchy Is Still Under God’s Grace That They Are Saved It Is Not Or Of Publishing, It Is Published For The Continuation Of The Gospel, I Like Also The Gideon, But I Like More That Has The Concordance.
Actually, the Copyright for the KJV has expired, and so it is now public domain. No one controls it anymore, as it was created over 400 years ago.
Except for Great Britain. In the UK, the Crown still controls it. But everywhere else in the world it is Public Domain.
That’s why the Jehovah’s Witnesses were able to take the KJV and modify the contents to fit their views.
