Why are people in the Middle East especially Muslims so much more open to talking about religion and politics than Americans? It makes it even more hard to preach the gospel because talking about religion and politics openly is considered “socially inappropriate” in America

I think America has been hijacked by the politically correct bandwagon and God forbid we should offend anyone. We are a country divided by a group that says they believe in free speech as long as you agree with them

Because in Islamic countries, they live in a theocracy so there is so separation between religion and politics. To talk about one is to talk about the other, while in America we have a separation between religion and government.

The western cultures are pretty much caught up in humanism and materialism. Even many socalled Christians don’t believe they are bad eniugh to go to hell.

There is a difference between Religion and SHARING THE GOOD NEWS

They are only open into talking about their religeon. The same way the atheist is only open to talking about atheism or the things of atheism.

We should not be concerned about being socially correct but biblically correct!!

I think it’s because we have been taught not to so we don’t offend people since we have freedom of religion and there are many different religions out there.

Because we believe in our own wisdom and wanna be accepted or liked by the world. Modern churches rarely produce Spurgeon or Wesley or Booth. Most of us practise Christless Christianity. The truth is many of us do not want to carry our crosses and deny ourselves. We love luxury and the world.

Asian countries are mostly theocratic countries while in the western world, government and religion are separate entities.
