Quintessential illustration of truth and reality.

The object is the truth while the reflections are realities relative to the positions of the light. Those who are on one side of the wall will never understand the truth until they see the bigger picture. This is true in all issues of life.

Apostle Paul describe this very well in our mission to evangelize.

Romans 10:11-14
For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him. For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”..
“How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?”

******we don’t impose or force the truth but tell the truth without compromise. Besides, that’s not our job. It’s the work of the Holy Spirit to convict a non-believer. They have the choice to respond or not.

    I am confused. One the one hand, the scripture says there is one truth, but your graphic illustrates three truths. Why not four? What if five people have different perspectives? Can’t you illustrate that? What if each of these different perspectives illustrated above were able to communicate with each other and determine the form in the middle? Because that is what different perspectives do, is they talk. Or are you saying that we can’t communicate with each other?

    The illustration is accurate for an object and its perspectives, but verbal communication is entirely different, especially in written form. You do not have various angles of perspective in written words, you have words and they need to be interpreted accurately not from various perspectives but by legitimate linguistics. The Christian faith is derived from a book, the Bible, which is a written communication that can be understood as such. It does provide the big picture as well as many aspects within it. It has only one meaning and not multiple, which is the nature of written communication.

    We impose truths on people all the time: that’s why we create jails and mandate seat belts. The question is not should we impose truthful ideas on people but which ideas.

    Christianity is not a faith interested in forcing people to convert because we believe real conversion must come from the heart. But that does not mean we can’t force Christian ideas, such as it is wrong to rape someone or kill an innocent person, on others through just laws.

    Different perspectives do not create different truths. They create unique perceptions and experiences that help one to arrive at foundational truths.

    Certainly not an efficient way of interpreting The Gospel. God clearly has high enough standard that He would send his Only begotten Son to die for us. His Word is clear, “if you love me, you will keep my commandments.” Not look at them from 3 apposing perspectives.

    Okay, so I think I get it. The shape in the middle is Christ. The shapes it casts on the wall are different theological principles that are true reflections of the truth Christ preached? Is this the message you are conveying?
