Lord, come alongside your son and protect him. Cause him to pour out his emotions to you and be comforted by your presence. Help him to know you and see himself more clearly. Help him to know that you are near and an ever present help to him. Use this time of confinement to refine us and restore us to a healthy rhythmn. Help us not to avoid the fraility of our human state. But to embrace your power and might. Employ all of the powers of heaven to hold your child and keep him from harm. Guard him from depression and anxiety. Teach us to abide in you more completely. May you be glorified in this quarantine, even as Paul glorified you in prison. Help us to choose to move the gospel forward in your beautiful Name above all names. Amen.
