Is the antichrist as big a deal in end times prophecy as we make him out to be?
Is the antichrist as big a deal in end times prophecy as we make him out to be?
It doesn’t matter. It happened already.
what does that have to do with the antichrist ?
Read Daniel 11 the word “anti-christ” isn’t in there but the anti-Christ is very much described
So hes not in Daniel. Does that mean he’s not a big deal?
Are you a Preterist, brother?
If you disagree with these things, can you post your biblical belief /understanding. Just focus on these 5 points.
Thanks and i appreciate your answer.
If you don’t believe that the term Antichrist is found in the Scriptures, you aren’t really reading the Bible.
Why does this have to be so hard to understand. Is the Bible a puzzle? Did God not know there would be so many misinterpretations? Is the Bible only a book that intellectual people can understand, if so that seems unfair to the people who aren’t as intellectual as the rest? #willieverunderstand
The reason for different interpretations is because of scofields indoctrination of the darby theroy
It’s true, there is no rhyme or reason for the people of the prince in Daniel 9:26 to be some future antichrist who could not have had anything whatsoever to do with the destruction of the temple. The person being described must be Titus who was the actual prince of the people who destroyed the temple.
People don’t forget the desecration by the Syrians aka Hanukkah
I’m doubtful there is one
Nope….because there will not be one
Daniel 11:36-45
How can Daniel 12:11 be explained – Daniel 12:11 English Standard Version (ESV)
11 And from the time that the regular burnt offering is taken away and the abomination that makes desolate is set up, there shall be 1,290 days.
Temple destroyed in 70 ad 3 1/2 years into the war . The war ended in 73 ad. At massad Jews new the Roman army was coming and did a mass suicide
Anti christ isn’t in Bible?
2 verses in 1 john and 2nd john he said they were already in the world
Premill flavor of interpretation
Unfortunately right rex
Good post. If you want to study Daniel, here’s my Intro to Daniel article. If there is a gap between the 69th and 70th week it is the 40 years between the cross and destruction of the temple:
This is a misinterpretation
Very wise
Jake Evans, question. Are you talking about AN AntiChrist or THE AntiChrist? There is a difference.
the antichrist is mentioned indeed, Usually pays to read the bible before making these kinds of posts
Actually two unmentioned intervals.
Preterism
Dangit i keep forgetting to look into the Lucifer thing lol
you also won’t find a 400 year gap between Testaments…but it’s there.
Isn’t that more of an eschatology debate than an apologetics debate?!
how can I repost this?
Although the statements are correct about Daniel, the releasing of antichrist is scriptural
