What is the place of repentance after a person has received Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour?
Each time he or she comes into the presence of God, does he or she need to first start by repenting?

It is all about what your Consciousness otherwise the Holy Spirit guides us
It teaches us all things and this is personal so there is no need to generalize it you can’t confess what you don’t have -
The biggest truth I have learnt is that nothing should take away your Joy in this kingdom business
Otherwise no one deserved to be a child of God
It is just by his Grace so we can error but he can still forgives us just like the Prodigal son
Otherwise we should also know that we can perfect ourselves in him by his Grace by understanding his Unfailing Love because Love is perfection -
Sin can not reign in our lives as children what the book of Hebrews calls, the sin that easily entangles
We should stop fighting sin with our own understanding instead we should focus on Jesus Christ
Hebrews 12:1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. -
The many circles I have been to as a believer, this is the biggest question that you see individuals asking in their spirit.
Normally when someone asks such a question, the first thing that comes in the mind of many who respond is the notion that this person must have fallen in a certain sin and therefore is trying hard to get a reprieve.
One certainly needs to put biblical truth together from the laws, to the prophets, to Christ’s doctrine, and then to the era from the inception of Christianity to date.

I regularly ask God if there is anything that I need to ask forgiveness for and then I listen for His answer.

Repentance is a change of attitude towards sin and God. Our old selves were enemies of God and slaves to sin. In this life, we still sin, but now it is a war against sin. Sin is no longer our master, but Christ. Therefore, we must strive hard not to sin, and when we fail, we turn once again from that sin, ask for forgiveness, and resolve to never again do the same sin.

Each time we meet with God, what we are doing in life our heart needs to be searched just talking with the Creator. We need a clean heart for Him to use us. Then we can open our eyes and see what God is doing and get involved with His mission. If our heart is not clean, then God needs to work on that project, sin in your life keeping us from partnering with Him.

Repentance is the gift of God; it is He who gives repentance to His people. The Christian is a new creation in a corruptible body of flesh, and our flesh strives against the Spirit throughout our lives until the time of our death. 1 Corinthians 15:54
So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
