If a Church Of God preacher does not wear a wedding band today what does that say about his heart?

According to Romans 14 it says he has settled the issue between himself and his God.

It could be that he just simply gained weight and the ring doesn’t fit any more. The presence of a ring doesn’t indicate a proper heart toward a marriage/a help meet/ God or the church. What did the Lord tell Samuel? man looks at the outward God at the heart….hummm seems pretty smart to me.

He’s either not married, or he might hold to convictions he was reared up in. I’d say the absence of a ring or any jewelry doesn’t say anything about his heart…

what if he had 60 piercings on his face? would it not say anything about his heart.

That may not be my cup of tea and I probably would not sit under his ministry, but if he had those piercing before he was born again maybe the Lord wants to send him back into the culture he was just in? God knows no self respecting Church of God Preacher would go to that culture to reach lost souls

I consider extremes (tats/piercings) as reflections of a rebellious attitude.
