Are there any Church of God preachers who believe in sanctification subsequent to the new birth. Many may say they do but do they really?

We are righteous, sanctified, and redeemed in Christ! It’s not something I do, but something He’s done for me through His finished work on the cross I Cor 1:30. When you get Jesus, you get it all!! Believest thou this?

Sanctification is not included as a positional work of grace. Calling, justification and glorification are positional aspects of salvation, unmerited and not worked for.

I Cor 1:30 Christ is made unto us sanctification. In Christ we have been set apart for His sacred purpose!! But I am not a Church of God preacher!!

Sanctification is achieved by our faith in Christ, believing the word and allowing the Holy Spirit to work in us.
Regeneration, justification and glorification are unearned works of God for us making us acceptable as Children of God.

I’m sorry Charles, but I no longer study scripture though a COG or Calvinistic filter. “But of Him (God) you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption” I Cor 1:30 If you have Jesus, you are sanctified!!!

Subsequent means after. I do not believe in sanctification prior to the New Birth. Yes, I believe in sanctification subsequent to the New Birth. Are there any Church of God preachers who believe in Sanctification prior to the New Birth?

The modern Calvinist belief is that regeneration and sanctification are simultaneous and that faith is a gift of God in the work of conversion.

I believe Sanctification is subsequent to the New Birth because that is what the Bible teaches. It is known as Entire Sanctification, Substantiation Sanctification and Instantaneous Sanctification. Others who believe that Sanctification has its beginning in Salvation, and is part of Salvation, and that Sanctification is never achieved in this life, only in the next life, are known as Progressive Sanctification. However, Progressive Sanctification is a lie of the devil. Several hundred years ago, this same group also believed in Progressive Salvation with so many people born for Heaven and others born for Hell. They hold to this view because they need something to rely on to condone their sin. I advise people to run as fast as they can away from those preachers and churches who hold to Progressive Sanctification. Do not give them one penny of your money. They have been preaching their false doctrine for years, and it is high time to awake and get back to preaching the real Sanctification that the Bible speaks about, and live a life of holiness.

that’s what the Bible teaches!! The progressives will scissor out the isolated scriptures that support their views however the whole Bible supports a conservative view of a definite, instantaneous work of grace in the already born again child of God.
Progressive salvation’s scissored text evolve into creeds and stated doctrines and the pioneers were opposed to that!
