I saw Steve Gaines sermon on the Memphis Bellevue Baptist TV and he gave a glowing acknowledgement of Paul L. Walker’s Church, Mount Paran COG in Atlanta. He was a young man and had attended the Church.
He said he has never heard a better preacher than him. I thought, “what a tribute to Walker and the COG!”
I remember him preaching at Lee Chapel services.
But Bob White made a statement that Paul L. Walker and Mount Paran Church should have been removed from the CoG years ago.
What did Bob White say?
Paul Walker was always one of my favorite preachers 40 years ago.
As you may know, for years Bro Walker was thought of a being a liberal in the CoG, including his Mt Paran church. Yet, many were impressed with his educational achievements and the large number of attendees in his church. I would think Charles that you would have been aware of that fact.
I knew that just was amazed that Gaines acknowledged him
It was a glowing praise of Walker
