When You Wish God Were Dead

In this first sermon on the Parable of Two Sons from Luke 15, Pastor Daniel examines the motives behind a son who asks for his father’s inheritance before the father had even died. Such a request is unheard of in Eastern cultures. To ask for such a thing is to suggest that wish your father was dead. But this younger son is not the only one who has problems in the father’s house.
