    1. He was a familiar friend of Christ. ( PS.41:9) Heb. batath, to confide in , as to be secure without fear . Used 107 times . Would Christ call any unsaved man or devil ( as some suppose Judas to be) mine own familiar friend ?
    2. Christ trusted Judas at one time or he would not have said in whom I trusted ( ps. 41:9 ) would he have confided in such a man if he had always been this way ?
    3. Judas ate of Christ’s bread ( Ps. 41:9 )this always assures one of very personal and intimate friendship.
    4. He had his name written in the book of life with the righteous ( cp. Acts 1:20 , Psalm 69:25-28 )
    5. He was a Bishop of the church Christ is building ( Acts 1:20, with Ps. 109:8 )
    6. He had part of the apostolic ministry ( Acts 1:17,25 )
    7. Christ gave him power against unclean spirits to cast them out and to heal all manner of sickness and disease . This was true of the 12 Judas included ( Matthew 10:1-4 )
    8. He was sent forth as one of the 12 to represent Christ among Israel ( Matthew 10:5,6 )
    9. He was called to preach ( Matthew 10:7)
    10. He was commanded to heal the sick, cleanse lepers , raise the dead, cast out devils ( Matthew 10:8, Mark 3:14,15, 6:7 , Luke 9:1,2 )
    11. He freely recieved power to heal and it was commanded that he freely give( Matthew 10:8 ) if Judas could preach, heal , cast out devils, and have the other expiriences mentioned and yet be unsaved, and never in grace, should not those who are saved and in grace be able to do as much?
    12. He had the peace of God to give to a home as did all the other 12 ( Matthew 10:13 )
    13. He was a sheep in the midst of wolves like others of the 12 ( Matthew 10:16 )
    14. He had received the Holy Spirit ( John 20:22 )
    15. He was ordained by Christ to the ministry as much as the others ( mark 3:14 )
    16. He was just as successful in preaching and healing as others ( Mark 6:12,13 , Luke 9:6,10 )
    17. He was an apostle meaning he was one divinely called and sent to do the work of God ( Luke 6:13 , Acts 15:13 )

  2. Judy Starr says:

Bible says he went to his own place. He’s bowels gushed out not fleshly but spiritually. His bowels of mercy bowels of compassion etc.

  3. No Jesus called him a devil

  4. Charles Page says:

What was Judas’ spiritual condition as a called disciple?

  5. He was saved at one time but Satan entered him.

  6. Evelyn Funk says:

He was saved at one time he had the same power as the other decipels he lost his salvation when he turned away from Christ and is in hell today

  7. Did Jesus wash his feet? Did he partake of the Lord’s Supper??

  8. Charles Page says:

    I believe he did
    I’ll have to re-read

  9. Charles Page says:

Judas lost his sanctification for certain and ended up in hell!
    That’s my belief.

  10. I believe it is hard to say where he went. Based on the Word only I would guess he is in hell. Jesus Forgives and could have forgiven Judas but the word doesn’t say whether or not Judas repented it only says he felt remorse, and that is the only reason I believe he may be in hell….“Woe to that man who betrays the Son of Man! It would be better for him if he had not been born.” Mark 14:21

  11. Judy Starr says:

True better he had not been born, but Jesus after he died he visited hell… who knows just guessing but he could had preached to Judas as well as others and maybe forgave him. One thing is for sure he is in the hands of a just God ❤️

  12. Larkin Self says:

    Does it matter and why?

  13. The first part of the answer I was writing. I lost when I was trying to look up a Scripture. Look in Acts chapter one 1: 21.—25. But the answer is I Verse Twenty Five. It said to take part in this ministry and apostleship from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place. ( transgression, ) Strong’s 3845. Abandoning a trust. Departing , stepping aside, overstep, violation, rebellion

  14. Charles Page says:

You can’t abandon a trust you never had!

  15. Larkin Self says:

Answer my question. What qualifies you to be any thing? Can you teach someone to speak in tongues? Wanda Self

  16. Not before he committed suicide. He had walked to far away from God by then. Buy when Jesus choose twelve. And called the twelve to Him, He gave them all power to heal the sick , cast out devils. But Judas rather choose the money bag. And transgress his power for the Money bag. So he told the thrift Who he was. He denied Christ right then. But Jesus doesn’t create some to go to Heaven and some to go to hell. We all were chosen to go to Heaven. But everyone won’t go. Because they choose to walk in the flesh instead of walking in the Spirit. The tree was put in the garden to give us a choice. We are the only creation God made to have choices. You make your own choice. Judas could have made the right choice. But he didn’t choose life Eternal. He choose death. He crossed the line of no returning back. But he did realize he made the wrong choice. And took the money back. And said I have betrayed innocent blood. He waited to late to make the right choice. That’s the way I see it. And the Bible I believe is backing it up.

  17. LC , Jesus made this statement in John ch 17 while praying in the Garden . He says in vs 1 and 2 : Glorify Your Son , that Your Son also may glorify You , ” as you have given him authority over ALL flesh , that He ( the SON ) should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him . vs 3 And this is eternal life , that they may know You , the ONLY true GOD , and Jesus Christ whom you have sent . VS 12 Jesus said While I was with them in the world , I KEPT them in YOUR NAME . Those whom You gave Me I have kept : and none of them is LOST : except the son of perdition , that the scripture might be fulfilled . Judas obviously was lost and would not be saved . Jesus said he kept those whom the Father gave him and none of them were lost . EXXXCEPT the son of perdition . The Perdition are those who will not or never be saved . This is easy to understand and believe
