[Jesus bore our sorrows, and blamed us not; He suffered each wound willingly, and did not hide from them, nor sink under them, because this was a demonstration of His unselfish love for us. The load was heavy and the way long, and yet He did not tire, but continued to the end, till he said, IT IS FINISHED!] “But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and BY HIS WOUNDS WE ARE HEALED.” (Isa. 53:5) [Jesus bore the punishment due to our sins. In no other sense could Christ bear them, but to actually suffer in an undeniable demonstration of the agape love Christ has for us!] “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “BY HIS WOUNDS YOU HAVE BEEN HEALED.” (1 Pet. 2:24) [When we are sick and suffering; each kind word, every kind act is appreciated, but oh how wonderful to be miraculously, and completely healed! What a great manifestation of our Abba Fathers love for us; He watched as His only son was beaten, crushed and pierced to “pay” for our healing! And now:] “Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and HEALING EVERY DISEASE AND SICKNESS.” (Matt. 9:35) [Jesus said: those who believe on my name SHALL, through my almighty power, be enabled to work greater miracles than those which l have normally produced.] “Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me WILL DO THE WORKS I HAVE BEEN DOING, and they will do EVEN GREATER THINGS than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. YOU MAY ASK ME FOR ANYTHING IN MY NAME, AND I WILL DO IT.” (John 14:12-14) [Listen to their prayer!] “Now, Lord…enable your servants to speak your word WITH GREAT BOLDNESS. Stretch out your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus.” (Acts 4:29-30) [Did our Abba Father honor this prayer?] “…they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them. There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and THEY WERE HEALED EVERY ONE.” (Acts 5:15-16)
