Does this also include the Church of God, Cleveland, Tennessee?
According to Gallup, Pentecostals believe in abortion, fornication, gay marriage, and death penalty in growing numbers. This is concerning.

I have not yet seen the link but I can assure you the Church of God does not believe in abortion, all you have to do is look it up and you can see the what we believe in

It is a interesting article but it is about the peoples view not the statistics of the church denominations. We all know people have the right to believe as they please and so do denominations that does not make everything right . We are all learning and growing in God each day . I get my believe from the Bible not the church

No! The Church of God Cleveland, TN clearly stands for the Sanctity of Life. There is a section in our Statement of Faith.

I seriously question the accuracy of that poll! Death penalty, yeah I could believe, but not the others.

That’s ridiculous! Jesus stated it’s better to have a millstone hung around your beck and cast into the see then to hurt one of these little ones.

I’m pro life. All around. From birth to the death penalty. Especially for those struggling with addictions that can kill them.

It says 13 % of Pentecostals believe this way, so the headline is false. It implies that the majority of Pentecostals do. 13% is too much, in my opinion, however, it does not say that they asked the people 1) are you saved? 2) are you Spirit-filled, 3) Do you adhere to the teachings of your church?

The headline is Peter Vanderver is not a reliable source. However he did present the Gallup poll and it is reliable. I believe the 13 % is correct.

Even if 13% is accurate, it still does not address what I said. First and foremost, 13% does not mean you can say “Pentecostals believe…” He could say “SOME Pentecostals believe” and be accurate. But then the other questions must be answered, “who did he poll?” Is it someone who identifies with a church but is not saved? Is it someone new to the church? Way too many variables to make such an outlandish statement.

Fake news. No bible believer would support abortion….. fake news aimed against Pentecostals. Next month it will be against the Baptist, the next month the Methodist, and so on. Likely done by a Trump hater, because the churches support him.

If there is 13% in the COG they’re probably in one of the following categories:
1. Generation Z or younger
2. From a very liberal part of the country like Massachusetts, Vermont or Oregon (or even Washinton State.)
3. Not committed to Christ or even the church. Just barely connected or not even cognizant of spiritual teachings of the bible. In other words they are barely in the church or God’s Word. -
