A very good discussion starter by a Church of God pastor about racism. You don’t hear a lot of discussion from COG pastors on this subject. What are your thoughts?

  1. Charles Page says:

is that also true for the Church of God you attend?

  2. There are many Holy Ghost filled worshippers in our congregation. Tongues are used often as the Spirit moves.

  3. Not disappearing from the kingdom of God.

  4. Charles Page says:

That is true for liberal blacks, but not moderates. I have known many that see at least 3 cultures, liberal/radical, hip-hop/gang, and moderates. The moderates are usually the ones with fathers in the homes, military service, and independent in spirit. -uncle J. D.

  5. It is an issue. But the rhetoric that we hear so much promotes them from their side.
I worked with some and do have a couple who are friends.
When you get them to talk freely, they say they must portray an image as being as one, even though in their ranks, there are different factions.
They will not speak out against an evil in the ranks, if it is being displayed for fear of being called an “Uncle Tom.”
Usually ministers or politicians state the positions for them and the people follow, even if they disagree..
It’s a fact. White people for the most part do not stand together on an issue publicly.

  6. Sammy Ford says:

God don’t see tha color of our flesh, he only sees his spiritual seed within us.

  7. Charles Page says:

God determined the color of our flesh, Sammy. He says it is good.
