Amen to that.
true. our mind is limited. that’s a general fact statement. anyone can believe what they wishes, literally anything! but not necessarily truthful or factual. that can be pure imagination or made up story someone wishes to believe and hide the truth. Truth will always show itself to someone seeking it, but some people are deceived even when Truth presented itself because they are not honestly seeking it and be ready to get hurt if needed.
That’s true
Ravi is one of the most intellectual and wisest people I’ve ever listened to.
All things are good, but not all are benefecial. That’s it.
The question is how we know if the reason is right?
true
Spot on
My view is on how you define the word right. Different worldviews will define their own word right..
Truth!
Profound
I agree with the quote.
100% right!
This speaks to all the things that are not clearly defined in the bible. The important truths are there, but often we focus on the parts that don’t have all the information, and try to fill in the blanks.
1 Corinthians 10:23
True cos sometimes we believed something that is out from the bible..or from the word of God…
Corona is invented to cut down your last beliefs!
Sure
Proverbs 14:12 KJV
[12] There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
Duh
Obviously true.
Agreed
Indeed
Did someone really write that on that wall?
It’s true
Very true statement.
Word play. The last “right” means correct as “not wrong.” The first “right” refers to a “privilege” as the freedom to act accordingly to men or God. L&P
The late great Winkey Pratney once said….we prefer to believe that which we prefer to be true
It’s a self-evident statement.
Very true
It’s true
So true. We are not God to change reality to our beliefs.
Absolutely correct.
Everyone has the right to believe anything or disbelief anything but the right to believe didn’t make all or what you believe to be true.
That’s true
Like Socrates
Just assume everything you know is wrong
True enough
To me, we have no right to believe whatever we want. Therefore God gives us the Bible. If we have a right to believe whatever we want would mean everything we believe is right.
This would be called objective truth.
We have the freedom/liberty to believe whatever we want, but not everything we believe is correct.
since when do we have the right to believe whatever we want we have the right to believe the truth.
I think it is something sensible that a person of any worldview could say. Like a lot of apologetic soundbites, I don’t think it is nearly as profound as people seem to think it is.
