What’s the point of your semantics?

  2. Jeff Pitts says:

And it really is semantic. Most atheists are actually philosophical agnostics. Thus, you still can’t apply the active faith label to them. Trust me, this argument is a bridge to nowhere. I’ve learned from experience.

  3. Luis Emanuel Vergara Fernández says:

Each worldview is a religious thinking with its own presuppositions and standards.

  4. Jay Alexander West says:

Faith would depend on your usage of the term. Atheism, like theism, is a propositional position on the ontology of god.

  5. Fabrizio Reveron says:

“I believe there is no Santa Claus.”

  6. Alex Tworek says:

If you insist on that definition, then most atheists would be considered agnostics, but their beliefs and their salvation would remain unaffected. So what does this accomplish?

  7. Bob Jones says:

    I agree

  8. Victor Van Der Woude says:

Atheism is the belief in nothing is therefore worth the time to argue with people who believe in something.

  9. Cory Taylor says:

In this day and age when we know the complexity of even one cell in a living being and the amount of things that would have to happen by random chance for life to occur; to be an atheist takes a larger blind Faith to believe the load of green gou they keep try to feed everyone than any other Faith I know of.

  10. Ed Hagèmunn says:

The atheist argument that God does not exist is illogical. With no God, he won’t exist. It’s like the Invisible Man trying to communicate by sign language. He betrays himself.

  11. Gus Rodriguez says:

God recognizes no atheist, he calls them differently:
    Psalm 14:1
The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

  12. Sherman C Fletcher says:

Hyperbole is exaggerated language , it is used to make strong specific points,

  13. Stan Wosnicki says:

    Who cares.
If you truly do not believe in God why even bother to prove or disprove?

  14. Anne Ramos says:

The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
    Psalm:14:1

  15. Steve Davies says:

The fool says in his heart ” There is no God”

Read the book. I Don’t Have Enough Faith to be an Atheist

  18. MLu Undette says:

Then a surprise awaits you the moment you breathe your last.
    Is it worth the risk?
Can you spend a day in a dark bottomless pit where there is endless moaning, groaning and gnashing of teeth and you experience this intellectually, emotionally, physically and with every sense of your living being.
Think about that risk and apportion it eternally.

I have peace with my GOD.?

  20. Ralph Edwards II says:

According to Romans 1 Atheism is an Active faith that says deep down i do believe in God and choose to reject Him

  21. Josh Sanchez says:

Sometimes people who do not believe in a God or to put it in his perspective. A Christian God. May have either one point believed and Christians have either caused or done something to lead them away. It could also be a tragedy that nobody else could heal. Even also practicing sin. When you do something so often that you become numb to sin. Its a norm, it doesnt bother you anymore. It becomes,” its just this…its just that.” Allow this long enough and you allow a lifestyle when you start to question God in your life when your decisions and choices affected you and you grew numb to them and instead turned to the world for a temporary patch pf pleasure to ignore what was wrong and leave it as a memory you thought you could forget. Im not talking about drinking it can be anything. The more you indulge questioning God from the outside instead of the inside. Asking people who dont know the faith vs asking people who will support you and guide you. Eventually you find yourself making the decision there is no God because you rejected him for the lifestyle you want, not the one you needed.

I have faith, but nowhere near enough faith to be and an Atheist.

“Atheism is to simple; if the universe has not meaning, we should have never found out that it had no meaning. its just like if the universe was without light, therefore creatures with no eyes, we shouldn’t know that its dark. Dark would be a word without meaning”

    -C.S Lewis-
