Except that it’s not pagan. Contrary to common knowledge the Saviours “pascha” ie) “Passover” aka “Easter” is traced in ancient Christian writings to the time apostles who are the very ones said to have started the tradition. Nor are there any ancient writings suggesting that that this was really a pagan celebration which certainly would exist and be condemned by the ancient Christians if it had been pagan.

Please demonstrate that jeaus rose from the dead first.

    That’s the spirit bro

  4. Jim Moore says:

I was thinking the same thing, I’ll celebrate the resurrection any time I want, even on Easter Sunday along with others.

  5. Jared Hamilton says:

Easter occurs on the supposed sabbath! The first sabbath being made ritual by GOD! Which precedes any stupid pagan ritual.
Pagan is a twist of our Gods creation by Satan. God still owns everything.

Remember when Satan offered Jesus lands and Jesus said they are already his fathers? GOD OWNS IT ALL!!
All this nonsense about Easter and Christmas and Sabbath is a dead argument.
    Stop with the division.

Now that is both hilarious AND true!

I’m glad so many of you believe that God is able to redeem formerly pagan holidays and leverage them to glorify himself. I’ve met many who are under the impression that God has no power over days that the Pagans have historically used for other purposes. The Jesus we worship on Sunday (and everyday, of course) is stronger than that. So happy Easter! He is Risen!

If we were to look at most of the “Christian” holidays we celebrate, you would find that pagan rituals are intertwined in them. I think what is important is why you celebrate and how you celebrate. Is the emphasis on the Easter bunny and its gifts? Or us the emphasis on what Christ did for us? Remember, when He died, He made All things new…so what was once pagan can possibly be now considered not pagan…depending on your meaning behind why you do it…

God makes it very clear he hates his worship being mixed with paganism ?‍♂️

  10. Harold Goldman says:

Man o man what people will fight over. He didn’t ask us to remember a day but him rising from the dead stop being lured into these ridiculous debates

I think it’s best to celebrate His resurrection at the accurate time of His resurrection, like we always have. If people want to celebrate like pagans do on the pagan holiday, let them do it in mid March like they always have. Christians did not get the date for Easter from pagan tradition….they got the rabbits, eggs, etc from them…just like they did the evergreens for Christmas…and should stop these practices immediately(in my opinion)…and I also do not call it Easter for the most part, but rather “Resurrection Sunday”. But the holiday itself is not of pagan origin.

  12. Keith Schuster says:

Easter celebration is pagan. Celebrating Passiver or Christs Resurrection is not. This MEME doesnt say Easter, it says Christs Resurrection and it even states anytime, not at some pagan interval.

  13. Justin Mirza says:

Good Comment! I CAN CELEBRATE CHRIST RESURRECTION WHENEVER I WANT!
