God is Sovenign…which means anything that happens in this world…he allows man(and or Satan) to do. If he don’t allow it….it is not happening. Everything must come through his nail pierced hands…either for a lesson, a blessing but ultimately for his Glory…..then we are to just tell the story so that others will want to run to him for his loving salvation, before it’s too late. John 3:16-17. Also Read Psalms 103:19.

No. Because God is in control , whatever happens must pass muster with him. He has a plan for mankind and His kingdom . Stuff just do not happen unless he wills it or allow it to go forth. Unlike other non gods that people worship , the creator and the giver of all life neither sleep nor slumbers , he needs no rest or sleep. He is worthy of our trust.

  14. Brian Ressel says:

We have an omnipotent and sovereign God. Nothing can stop His will (Eph 1:11). Although natural evil such as cov19 does not originate from God, and is a byproduct of sin, the fact that we are experiencing it means that it is His will to allow it. But why? As Christians we can rest on his promise that he works for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). There is an opportunity in this and I pray that God uses me in whatever greater purposes he has for this world.

  15. Joe A Smith says:

No otherwise God is made Contingent on His creation this leads to Logical fallacy

God decrees ALL things. Ephesians 1:11

  25. Nimmie Perera says:

YES it can for sure; as we have been given a free will we also must face the consequences to our actions. God is not evil but loves the humanity unconditionally hence why He sacrificed His own Son to redeem the entire humanity.
We/Sin have opened the door to the enemy to destroy us. We must not forget that the dominion was given back to us over the land; let us use that authority to overcome any destruction.

    God bless!

If you are using the word “will” as in God wanting it to happen, then your trying to cause a trap, in other words rephrased, you are saying can something very bad happen without God wanting it to happen, the answer is yes! We sin everyday when God does not want us to, but He allows us to

  33. Timothy Wilde says:

    No

  34. Jeanette Brookes says:

By definition, God is all powerful. Nothing happens without His permissive will. We may not understand it, but that doesn’t make it false or evil. God defines what is good. We have to be careful we don’t try to put ourselves in His place.

Revelation 16:5-9 King James Version (KJV)

5 And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus.

6 For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.

7 And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.

8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.

9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.

  41. Joe Norris says:

Colosians1:15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him. 17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. 18 He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. 19 For it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him, 20 and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven.

  46. Louis A. Patrick says:

    Good evening,

Confused with your question. I believe in free will and when Adam and Eve sinned all that was bad came into the world. I do not believe that was God’s will. I think we confuse God’s will with Him being all knowing.
It is not God’s will for his creation to suffer and die. That was the result of sin. His will is that all men/women go to Heaven. It is our choice if we do not follow his will.
With that said the world as we know it is post creation and after the fall. It brings death and catastrophe’s because of the fall. This was man’s doing not God. Let’s give Satan his due and stop blaming God for the bad things of the world.
God is not a God of chaos. Remember he brings order, healing and love. Just because He knows the ending doesn’t mean he will change it. Remember the consequence of sin is death.

    Blessings!

” Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the Lord He is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath, there is none else.” ( Deuteronomy 4:39 )

We must quickly and quietly come to terms with Scriptures. Dan 4:17 says to the intent that the living may know that the Most high rules in the kingdom of men. it doesn’t matter what happens globally, God is still in charge. He is at the center of everything.
