Yes. Though atheism is not of any value. If people were critically adept, if they had a grasp on epistemology, on induction, abduction and deduction. If they were to submit to reason. Such society would by atheistic. That is the kind of atheism that I want, the one that comes from critical adeptness.

There are ways to allow the most amount of people to thrive, there is no need for a god. A god is needed only if there is a heaven to go to, which there is not.

Gods word once reign supreme. People were burned at the stake then,
Differing opinions were regarded as blasphemy and were punishable.
Not a place worth going back to.

Just note that religion has had the need to constantly be dragged along. Forced to change their ways. To catch up. If you now are part of some modern denomination, you have atheist and mostly deist to thank for.

Atheism is irrational at its core. At best one can only be agnostic.

But to the question, no. As long as the Holy Spirit is working in the world, there will always be believers.

A government maybe, but not a society. Christ will always call his own, no matter the government they live under. The Body of Christ is thriving in China, under tremendous persecution. <3

  15. John Humes says:

In any functioning society, there must be law and order, which stand on the premise of morality. Morality can not exist without the concepts of good and evil. Therefore, there must be some portion of God for a society to maintain, as the fundamental concept of good and evil are laid out by the Creator, not the creation.

Even though many would deny it, the laws in any functioning society are rooted in the foundations of Judeo-Christianity

China, N.Korea, Cambodia in years gone by… there are many believers there, praise the Lord, but the state is the ‘god’

  17. Carrie Rostollan says:

Atheism cannot exist in the real world without stealing from God to make life liveable.

Sure. It’s called the animal kingdom.
