   The Angel of the Lord is said to be Christ.

   Melchizedek is a priest of a higher order than the Levi. priesthood.
   Jesus is a priest not Levi. Priesthood.

   Melchizedek had no beginning. Jesus always was.

   So we think he was Jesus.

   It is possible, but His Word is silent on that. Don’t believe the other religions when it comes to Christ. Often they are talking about a different Jesus.

   Yes Christ did appear to different people and different cultures. We have the record of His ministry on the American continent after His ascension into heaven and it can be found in the Book of Mormon. The purpose of the Book of Mormon is ” the convincing of the Jew and Gentile that Jesus is the Christ, the Eternal God, manifesting himself unto all nations”( title page of the Book of Mormon) “The crowning event recorded in the Book of Mormon is the personal ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ among the Nephites soon after His resurrection. It puts forth the doctrines of the gospel, outlines the plan of salvation, and tells men what they must do to gain peace in this life and eternal salvation in the life to come.”( Intro to the Book of Mormon)

   I guess I don’t understand question; what is there about the Son appearing in the Old Testament which is irreconcilable with John 1:1 and John 14:6?

   Genesis 1:26 and 3:22 both tell us that the Son, as well as, God’s Spirit were present at Creation, so we know right from the very beginning that the Son was present in the Old Testament. Colossians 1:15 also tells us that Jesus existed before anything else.

   In Genesis 14:18 we learn that Melchizedek was the king of Salem, a priest of the most high God. In Psalm 110 David makes a distinction between Jehovah (3068 in Strong’s the Self-Existent/Eternal) and the Lord (136 from 113 sovereign controller) listing the things Jehovah will do for the Lord. One of these things is that the Lord is a priest forever according to the order Melchizedek. “Order’ is defined as ‘reason, suit or style’ (1700 in Strong’s) and Melchizedek is defined as “King of Right” in OT (4442) and ‘to be right’ in NT (3198). So, according to the definitions assigned by the original languages, the ‘order of Melchizedek’ means the ‘reason/suit of rightness.’

   In Hebrews 7 we learn that Melchizedek, priest of the most high God had no father, no mother, no genealogy, no beginning and no end; He remains a priest in perpetuity. Melchizedek was of such status and honor that Abraham paid a tithe to him, but Melchizedek was not of the tribe of Levi, but of Judah. Melchizedek was sent as high priest because the human priests from the tribe of Levi could not achieve God’s purpose. (The human priests were temporary just like the law they served. God needed an eternal priest to serve forever, hence Melchizedek). Hebrews 7:16 tells us that Melchizedek became a priest, not because He belonged to the tribe of Levi, but by the power of a life which can never be destroyed. Verses 17 through 28 clearly teach that the Son, Jesus, is the high priest Melchizedek; vs 25 He lives forever to plead with God on behalf of believers. There are many other NT scriptures which speak of Jesus serving as our high priest.

   Hebrews discusses Melchizedek and how Jesus was in the same order of him as a priest. A very high priest that in fact no other human or angel had obtained in earth. It’s in Hebrews chapter 9. Made fairly simple to understand.

   In regards John 1:1 we must consider all information regarding and provided. Here is some great information regarding John 1:1

   In order to avoid misunderstanding, it may be inserted here that θεός [the·osʹ] and ὁ θεός [ho the·osʹ] (‘god, divine’ and ‘the God’) were not the same thing in this period. Philo has therefore written: the λόγος [Logos] means only θεός (‘divine’) and not ὁ θεός (‘God’) since the logos is not God in the strict sense. . . . In a similar fashion, Origen, too, interprets: the Evangelist does not say that the logos is ‘God,’ but only that the logos is ‘divine.’ In fact, for the author of the hymn [in John 1:1], as for the Evangelist, only the Father was ‘God’ (ὁ θεός; cf. Joh 17:3); ‘the Son’ was subordinate to him (cf. Joh 14:28). But that is only hinted at in this passage because here the emphasis is on the proximity of the one to the other.”

   Then Haenchen observes: “It was quite possible in Jewish and Christian monotheism to speak of divine beings that existed alongside and under God but were not identical with him. Phil 2:6-10 proves that. In that passage Paul depicts just such a divine being, who later became man in Jesus Christ. . . . Thus, in both Philippians and John 1:1 it is not a matter of a dialectical relationship between two-in-one, but of a personal union of two entities.”​—Pages 109, 110.

   Hence, rather than saying that the Logos (Jesus) was with God and was God, John 1:1 explains that the Logos was with the Almighty God and was divine, or was a god.

   I don’t feel that aside the continual allotment of the helper, the Holy Spirit, Jesus himself came to the nations through his servants as purposed and written in Matthew 24:14 and Mark 16:15. Why would Jesus himself go physically to all nations if he entrusted the job to his disciples and still us who follow today. However, I’m positive that he indwells by spirit of course engaging with all nations over the care and keeping of his bride and her work in the worldwide ministry of kingdom testimony.

   Just throwing this out there. Some ancient literature like the Babylonian Talmud claim that Melchizedek was Shem son of Noah.

   Because we could not live by the Law of written ordinances that God gave to Moses, Christ mediated a different contract (covenant) between God and man. When Jesus lived, He never sinned against God at all, and He completely kept the Mosaic covenant. When He died, He died to that Law (just like a widow can marry another man, because she is not bound by the law of her husband – Romans 7). Jesus became High Priest of the order of Melchizedek (instead of the order of Aaron, under Mosaic Law). With the change of priesthood, a change of law is necessary (Hebrews 7). Christians are not under Mosaic Law, but we are under the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:2). We are not under written ordinances, but we have the love of God shed abroad in our hearts (Romans 5:5). We are able to live to God without the impossible burden of perfectly living by the written commandments. Because we believe that Christ died and is risen again, and we have called on His name to save us, God sees Master Jesus’ righteousness when He looks at us who are in Christ! It really is “Good News”!

    Christians will answer and say, “NO.” LDS will answer you, “YES.”

    Their founder translated gold looking plates as many as it can occupy 8″ x 6″ x 6″ space. From Egyptian hieroglyphs to come up with an english transcript as thick as the Bible.

    My issue is: Are those plates still in their possession for review? Answer is: No, it was lost.
