SUBJECT: EXECUTIVE COUNCIL REPORT ON LEE UNIVERSITY

The Church of God Executive Council has released a final report entitled “Lee University Doctrinal Integrity and Teaching Fidelity”. This report represents months of research and dialogue with leaders of Lee University Board of Directors and the Executive Council.

A primary goal of the Council’s report was to highlight Lee University’s commitment to Church of God doctrine as well as the church’s expectation for scriptural adherence related to critical societal issues. 

Special thanks to the Executive Council and the Lee University Board of Directors for their prayerful collaboration on this most significant report.

Lee University to Launch Online Dual Enrollment Program This Fall

Cleveland, TN–Beginning August, 2024, Lee University will pilot a fully online, asynchronous academic program designed for high school juniors and seniors. Produced by Lee Online, the program will provide curriculum which satisfies requirements for high school and college credit, making it possible to graduate from high school with considerable progress toward a bachelor’s degree.

We regret to inform you of the passing of Evelyn McCaskill mother of Shelly Dority, Tennessee women’s President and wife of state overseer Dr. T. Wayne Dority.

Life celebration for Evelyn McCaskill, 79, will be held on Monday, May 20, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, SC with burial to follow at Scotch Cemetery. Dr. T. Wayne Dority will officiate. 

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lakeshore Drive Church of God or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Please keep the family in your prayers.
