   Great post. I remember so well these type of meetings as I grew up in as a child in the Church of God (Cleveland, TN).

   We also had Altar Workers. I was one of them. We would pray seekers through to old-time Salvation, Sanctification or the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. What a blessed time that was. And Oh, how God would move in those altars.

   Question? If I wrote a similar article, and called it “the old white church”. would still have been a “good article”? I’m turned off by the obvious “racism” in the title. Something is out of whack here.
