  6. Jennifer Figueroa says:

Why rebuke satan when he’s been defeated already?
What you should be doing is learning to walkin the spirit so you dont fall victim to the schemes of the devil.

  7. Jason Lawson says:

John Lappin I don’t speak to Satan. I believe we should pray to God to rebuke Satan. Only if a demon or Satan materializes in front of someone, should they speak to the being. At that time you would rebuke Satan in Jesus name. Anything else in my mind is praying “essentially” to that being. This may not be a popular thought process though.

“Resist …. the devil, and he shall flee.” Therefore, what then are you to be ARMED with, but by …. the Holy Blood of the Lamb and by …. the Holy Word of the Living God, Who is our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ.

8 “Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses (who was standing for God’s Holy Truth), so do these …. also resist the Truth: men of corrupt …. minds, …. reprobate (cast off) ….concerning …. the faith.

9 But …. they shall proceed no further: for their folly …. shall be manifest …. unto all men, …. as their’s also …. was.

10 But thou hast fully known …. my doctrine (teachings), manner of life, purpose, faith, long-suffering, charity, patience, 11 Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: …. but out of them all …. the Lord delivered me.

12 Yea, and all …. that will live godly …. in Christ Jesus …. shall suffer persecution.

13 But …. evil men and seducers …. shall wax (grow) worse and worse, deceiving, and …. being deceived.

    14 But …. continue …. thou in the things …. which thou hast learned and …. hast been assured of, knowing of Whom …. thou hast learned them;

15 And that from a child …. thou hast known the Holy Scriptures, …. which are able …. to make thee wise …. unto salvation …. through faith …. which is in …. Christ Jesus.” – https://www.openbible.info/topics/rebuking_the_devil

  27. Tammie Edwards says:

The best way to handle the Satan issue is to ask God to bind Satan. God is sovereign and He alone has final authority. Remember that God allowed access by Satan to Job and sent an evil spirit to torment King Saul. He also sent a deceiving spirit to prompt a king in the wrong direction. It’s best to be obedient to God and to ask Him to bind the enemy.

    4. Do not give him any foothold
    5. Declare the victory of Jesus over the devil
    6. Ask God to help you and teach you
    7. Ask God to deliver you
    from evil one

  39. John Carson says:

Rebuking Satan is not our responsibility. Michael even said, “May the Lord rebuke you!”, refusing to bring an spoken accusation against Satan. (Jude 1:9) Since we are lower than the angels, what arrogant pride do we have for thinking we have the liberty to do what even an arch angel would not dare to do?

  40. Glory Kramlich says:

With my baptismal vows, spoken on my behalf by my godparents, I “rebuke satan and all his works and all his pomps.” Since then I have renewed those vows as an adult.

  41. Aly Mili says:

I tried for years – it didn’t work. I shouted scripture after scripture in my warfare. It was only when I actually believed that I was the righteousness of God in Christ – despite my sinful thoughts – that I experienced freedom ?❤️

  42. Kathryn Richards says:

Satan, I could rebuke 24/7 & that wouldn’t scare him 1 bit. Same as holy water, crosses etc.
But by putting on the full armour of God, (Ephesians 6:11) &
resisting him as in (James 4:7), he has to flee.
Jesus never binded Satan in His temptations in the wilderness.
He spoke the Word because He is the Word in flesh, (John 1:14) & stood His ground. No retreat, no surrender.
Job is an example of not surrendering.
Satan will then leave you alone for a little while but will return another day & another battle. When he does, find it a good thing. It’s because you are doing right in this journey of life with your walk with God.
He isn’t going to bully anyone he already controls.
