God is Jesus Christ, he is both the Father and the Son.

1 John 2:22-24
[22]Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

[23]Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.

[24]Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.

John 14:23
[23]Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

Romans 8:9
[9]But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Matthew 22:37-40
[37]Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

[38]This is the first and great commandment.

[39]And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

[40]On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

1 John 3:23-24
[23]And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

[24]And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

The “he” is obviously both the Father and the Son whom is Jesus Christ Rom 8:9-10

John 5:17-18
[17]But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.

[18]Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.

    Toni Armstrong. How do you understand John 12: 28 Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again. From what I can see there is a conversation between two persons. How do you understand what’s going on here?

    None of those passages show what you claim. It is abundantly clear from scripture that the Jesus is not his own Father.

    How can some people continually deny what is clearly explained. Jesus and the Father yes they are the same God but they are separate persons, precisely because that is how Scripture explains them. The Father didn’t stop being the father to become the Son, and the Son didn’t stop being the Son to become the Spirit. Scripture shows that they continue to exist simultaneously. Hebrew tradition shows that they understood the Spirit of God to be one aspect of God but not God entirely. When God appeared to Moses on the burning Bush speaking that was God’s Spirit, it wasn’t God’s entire presence because humanity would not be able to see God and survive. This is why He sent us His Son. A human child born of a human woman by work of The Holy Spirit. The same Spirirt that was moving over the Waters in the Beginning caused Mary to be pregnant. The Spirit that gives life, the Counselor.

    We in fact are made after Elohim’s immage, we are spirits, body and soul but we are not omnipresent. God is, He can exist together and separate from His three persons. While the Father was and always has been in heaven, He lived among Us as Yehoshua. Christ himself taught his disciples to Pray to the Father whom is in Heaven…it is clear that while Jesus was on Earth, the Father was in Heaven… Yes God is One, and Jesus is part of that Triune God.

    If people believed the Bible without preconceptions of the world’s doctrine they wouldn’t be this confused.

    God is GOD.
    Jesus is God’s begotten son.
    They are ONE in Purpose.
    The son represents THE FATHER
    The son is Not equal to GOD. (He said it himself I go to MY GOD, and your GOD, My Father is greater than i am.)
    There’s no name greater than that of GOD. So why would GOD need a new name?(Christ receives a new name after resurrection, if he waa GOD already, why need a new name while in his previous out of this world form???)

    We are One with Christ and God. That doesn’t make us Gods too! Jesus being one with GOD doesn’t make him God either.

    God can’t die.
    God can’t be tempted
    God isn’t a man. But HIS spirit can be in a man. That doesn’t make the man GOD does it?

    Christ was in the beginning when our beginning was laid down.
    Who knows what was before that? No one.

    Angels sent by God sometimes spoke in first person. I will do this, i will do that. That didn’t make the angels into GOD but they were ONE, in purpose.

    Just as Moses was lifted up the serpent, so shall be the man Jesus.
    With time people turned the serpent into a G-d, so does people with Jesus,

    If Jesus is GOD, what’s the point of telling Jesus telling us he is the way to his Father?

    What’s the need of inviting us to HIS GOD when we have him as God????

    Jesus said that he and his Father are “two witnesses” (John 8:17,18 NIV), and “the true worshippers will worship the Father” (John 4:23), and that “there is no God other the the One”, “for us there is only one God, the Father” (1 Corinthians 8:4,6 NJB).

    … the text explains them as separate persons members of one God… to deny this is a form of denying who God is… that is the discrepancy of Oneness modalism.

    People forget that the Lord was fully man and fully God when He was here in earth n during His ministry..He ALOT of times spoke as the fully man part to SHOW his disciples and us HOW we SHOULD pray to God. He KNEW that He wasnt gonna be with them physically forever..so he HAD to show them how to pray and what to do as a man. That does NOT take away from His deity. People need to have the understanding that the Holy Spirt gives or else there is just gonna be SO much confusion. Dont let the devil confuse u! Jesus IS God…HE MAKES THAT VERY CLEAR. AND HE IS NOT THE FATHER, HE IS THE FATHERS SON! And HE IS GOD! AMEN..N AMEN..

    Jesus Christ admitted: “I don’t speak on my own authority. The Father who sent me has commanded me what to say and how to say it” (John 12:49 NLT). Jesus is under his Father’s authority.

    After Jesus said all power in heaven and earth is His and the apostles went from this point in time to the day of Pentecost and immediately proceeded to baptize in Jesus Name……so they obviously understood Jesus when he said He had all power in Heaven and earth!!!!

    I have studied and prayed and worked out what I believe through the years. I believe they are one in purpose, one in substance but have different roles. I believe they are one in purpose and substance and three in one purpose and substance. They are separate but inseparable. They are all Divinity.

    You quoted John 14:23, which clearly shows that they are two different persons. Jesus plainly said “we” and “our.”

    Trinitarians love to make fun of Oneness believers…claiming our God is praying to himself. We claim that the flesh is merely praying to the Spirit. The reason the trinitarians attack oneness is because their own trinity is shot full of discrepancies and they are scared of their three gods being made an example. The believe in three coequal coexistant gods or persons but if they really are equal why does one god pray to the other god? They claim Jesus is God the Son but the bible does not say that. It only says Jesus is the Son of God or the Son of Man.It is surprising to me if they believe voices speaking from heaven means there are two gods…..what about when the donkey of balaam spoke? Is he a god figure also? Or the Dove….is that the image of God to them? What about the rooster that crowed ? another image of God? The idea of the trinity is some crazy theory that rose during the time of paganism and false god worship…….
