God is our escape out of trouble
—————————————————-
About the Messiah it is written, You are the fairest (most nice looking) of the sons of men; grace is poured upon your lips; therefore God has blessed you forever. Gird your sword upon your thigh o most mighty, with your glory and your majesty. And in your majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and your right hand shall teach you terrible things (Ps 45:2-4 RSV). He prospers in all things because He does everything in truth, (according to the word of God), meekness (in God’s way, at His command), and righteousness (God’s moral uprightness which is holiness). How did men receive Him? King Herod who was ruling Israel at this time (when He came as a baby) purposed to kill the baby.. but God hid the baby and in anger Satan slaughtered many children. And now ?..Satan will focus men’s attention away from Jesus Christ onto things.. days. (When Jesus was born, there were shepherds with their flocks abiding (living) in the grazing fields, who were the first to know about His birth. Now, winter is in Israel between Nov. and Feb. The Holy Spirit knowing the mischief to come later added this scripture!.. this is because no shepherd takes his animals to the grazing fields in winter). On returning to Israel He went to Nazareth because they were still watching for Him in Judea. God, long before had said, He shall be called a Nazarene.. Then suddenly He appeared on the public scene.. He is despised (regarded as worthless, negligible) and rejected of men, a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief; and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not (Isa. 53:3). To be rejected is to find no acceptance, no admission, to be thrown out, to be a taboo. To be of no esteem is to be regarded as unprofitable, of no value. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth (to complain or weep): he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he opened not his mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgments; and who shall declare his generation? For he was cut off out of the land of the living (He was put to death): for the transgression (breaking the commandments of God and being contrary to God’s will) of my people was he stricken (Is.53:7,8).

It is good to remind ourselves how cruel the punishment for our sins was to Jesus Christ, God’s holy Lamb, sacrified and raised from the dead that we may live. When Jesus Christ gave Birth to His people, the church of Jesus Christ, God swallowed up their damnation (punishment for sin) and gave them His wholeness (Jesus took the punishment and poured out to us His wholeness).. Firstly He was arrested and imprisoned then the trial (early in the morning) followed. This was questioning while being flogged.. He received 39 lashes of a Roman scourge (a whip made of strands of cord, each having brass barbs plus broken bone splinters at intervals along its length).. this whip, like a plow on a field, dug up furrows across His back..
He was after the beatings nailed onto a cross where He spent a good 6 hrs hanging.. the battle was on! They that had said He would repent, disown the God in whose power He walked, sat in front of Him watching as He hung, held back by the nails in his hands and feet.. paying a cruel price. His comfort and rest was the burning cutting sting of the nails in His hands and feet. Where could He lean?.. forwards the nails would shoot sharp fire into His hands.. backwards the rough wood would flood His minced, shredded back with pain. Who would cover His nakedness? When he got tired, He relaxed the knees, so transferred the weight of His body onto the nails in His hands.. then the furrows on the plowed back would begin to tear. Fire.. fire.. all around. He wasn’t supposed to get tired.. or to thirst.. or to seek for a comforter.. the supervisors sitting nearby to ensure that the only exit He had was death. After He died His body was put in a tomb cut out of stone.. and because they did not want a return of such a man, they locked His body in the tomb. Their anger against Him had not been quenched. Where will that anger go? Against whom was pharaoh king of Egypt angry? Against the God of the Jews.. and now the God of the people of Jesus Christ, because God said in Ps 72 that the Messiah (The Saviour of all men) would be born of offspring of king David. In I Chro. 17:6, God said, Wheresoever I have walked with all Israel spake I a word to any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to feed my people, saying, Why have ye not built me an house of Cedars?.. but of His Son, God says, He shall build me an house, and I will establish his throne forever. I will be his father (He won’t be of the seed of Adam), and he shall be my son: and I will not take my mercy away from him, as I took it away from him that was before thee: But I will settle him in mine house and in my kingdom for ever: and his throne shall be established forever. It is written, He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not (John 1:10,11).. But whoever asks God to forgive them and heal them will be healed because of the payment made by God’s Son. Jesus said, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return. And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy (keep for me) till I come. But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us (Lk 9:12-14).
So, When He returns what do you expect He will correct first? God said, I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones for mine anger, even them that rejoice in my highness. The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people: a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together; the Lord of hosts mustereth the host of the battle. They (army of God) come from a far country, from the end of the heaven, even the Lord, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land’ (Is 13:3-6). Their description is given in Joel 2.

It is written, Behold, the Lord maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof. And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled; for the Lord hath spoken this word. (Is 24:1-3). The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, the haughty (proud and arrogant) people of the earth do languish. The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof: because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate. Therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left (Is. 24:4-6). To be desolate is to be without the Spirit of God. (from ‘The Day of The LORD’, 1997).
In Jer. 23:5-8 GOD said, ‘Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth. In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, The Lord Our Righteousness. Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that they shall no more say, The Lord liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt; But, The Lord liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land’. This started in 1989 and goes on even now.. So, God’s Righteous King must have been enthroned before this time.. Does Satan passively watch them return? NO! Events concerning the Jews are God’s Time markers –His Trumpet for all on earth–. So, the enemy has come from all his hideouts to vex and defraud them. When he gets them to split Jrslm, men will know the meaning of the word ‘Trouble’.. because, as God brought His enemies into the midst of the Red Sea, so is touching His City as written in Zec.14. The reality of the preview of the Red sea you read above will be seen. Isaiah talks of a 10th –only the holy seed– being left in all the land.. Zech. talks of 1/3.. whichever way, it’s a catastrophe. EVANGELIZE PLEASE! so, while in their harvest of pain (like the thief who repented on the cross), may call on God for forgiveness.. What is the reach of this Holy Governor’s Rule? THE WHOLE EARTH (see vs.5,6). So, say to Him, ‘Lord Jesus, wash everyone of my (–family’s–) sins away by your blood and fill me with all You bought for me by Your sacrifice on the cross’ .. I used to imagine, ‘Wild beasts will vex this remnant..’, but recently He said to me, ‘I will make peace for them with the wild beasts of the forest, for even the lion will eat straw like an ox’.
