I’m not saying I believe this garbage, I don’t. I have had a gentleman on FB…..go figure… Who claims to have been studying SCRIPTURE for 40+ yrs., tell me….. those who believe God caused their Salvation, are deceived. I just wanted to see if anyone else felt the same way

  6. Aly Mili says:

    False

  7. Nathaniel Taylor says:

Salvation comes only through the atoning work of Christ on the cross. Jesus made that sacrifice.

If someone makes that argument about 40 years etc just ask, “so if if find someone who has been studying for 50 years and disagrees with you, you’ll then submit to that person’s understanding?

It is through God that we are save in a two part process. He exposes the need in light and out of darkness we come to Him. If we love darkness we do not come to Him and are not saved.

Jesus is God, the Holy Word of God Incarnate. “I and the Father are One.” And what is the test by which we are to “test the spirits to see if they are of God”?

There is no salvation apart from the atoning death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ—who is God as stated in John 1:1

This question seems to be lacking something. He is most definitely the cause of our salvation as He is the cause of our very existence. However, this does not mean man is unable to respond to the call of Holy Spirit that brings about regeneration.

  16. Gus Rodriguez says:

That sounds like someone who doesn’t understand

Hebrews 12 King James Version (KJV)

12 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

  39. Nikki Sheppick says:

Without God, there is nothing, period, for He is the Holy Creator, the Giver of Divine Truth and Life, even from the beginning. And except He sent His Holy Word, to take flesh of the virgin, and named Jesus (current translation, “God with us”) …. even as fore-told …. from the OT and fulfilled by the NT, then none could be saved at all. “Our God is One.” …. Jesus Said: “I and the Father are One.” …. “God is the Spirit of Truth and Life.” “I Am …. the Way, the Truth and the Life.” …. and Jesus fulfilled His Purpose and Mission He was sent to do …. and returned to the Father in Heaven …. to wait …. till the End Day …. wherein He shall Return …. coming forth in the Holy Glory of the Father (Mt. 16) …. which no flesh can see and live …. bringing His Promise with Him (Resurrection at His End Day) …. and then the pouring forth of the Holy Wrath of God upon all the wicked, ensnared upon the earth. Therefore, the wise shall do as He bids …. today, while today is today …. “Repent (turn from self and sin), Believe (in what Jesus did for you, in place of you, on the cross at Calvary), and you (your soul) shall be saved.” …. for with the passing of each and every day …. His End Day …. is coming. Amen and Amen. BE IN Jesus 24/7=4GIVEN=4EVER. <3 <3 <3
