   The word for holy spirit in Hebrew is a feminine noun. In Greek it is gender neutral. If God made us both male and female then where is God’s feminine traits? Are we not born of flesh by a woman? And are we not born by God’s Spirit as well? Eve was Adam’s helper, and the Spirit is our Helper. It would be far more accurate to refer to the Holy Spirit as She than He, the Spirit of God is after all our Spiritual Mother.

   God is an intangible spirit and has no gender. The preponderance of references to God in both the Old and New Testaments are in the context of a masculine reference, often “Father”. However, there are a significant number of feminine allegorical references to God, most often in some maternal role. He carries both traits but he is not a man or women. As the father. He chose to be a man as flesh to be Jesus cuz women can not be leaders in the church so God came as a male. The holy spirit is a spirit ,like the father the holy spirit is genderless.
