Hi guys . Do you have any suggestions for books to read over the next few weeks ????
The Gospels. Matthew Mark Luke and John. If you looking for some wisdom The Book of Proverbs
The bible has 66 books in it. 😉
If you want a challenge that rocked and reformed my entire moral theology and apologetics, read Jonathan Haidt’s the righteous mind as a deconstruction and then Alasdair MacIntyre’s After Virtue as a reconstruction.
I’m a metaphysician yet this might have been the best thing I’ve ever done
Mere Christianity by C S Lewis to understand the basic common beliefs of Christians from the Book of Acts until today.
The Stand by Stephen King.
Is God a Moral Monster
Tactics
Living for eternity (this isn’t an apologetics book, but a great one for spiritual growth)
Since this suppose to be an apologetics group on biblical topics, I would suggest get a book caleed Christianity in crisis by hank hanagrah or the kingdom of the cults by ravi zacharias .
Knowing God by J.I. Packer, Chosen by God by R.C. Sproul, Strange Fire by John MacArthur, Anything book written by Erwin Lutzer, D.L. Moody, or Charles Spurgeon.
Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus (my personal favorite), Numbers (can’t get enough), and Deuteronomy.
If you want an Christianity based book mama bear apologetics is awesome. Even if you don’t have children.
I can think of no greater book then the Bible. Start with in the beginning and when you get to Amen. Repeat.

Hi. I just read a book called, Letters From A Sceptic, by Gregory Boyd, PhD. An exchange of letters between his dad and him, over a three year period. He answers his atheist dad’s questions/objections regarding Christianity. Note: I’m not in complete agreement with every point of his theology, but 96% of it. I enjoyed reading it and he shows great love and respect for his dad throughout.
