Honestly, you don’t need a bible to know God’s existence, and you don’t need a PhD in physics or biology to know that any materialistic philosophy which dogmatically rejects the divine nature of an all mighty, all intelligent omnipotent creator is at the very least unrealistic.
It doesn’t have to be as complex as an apologetic argument. Even without quoting the laws of physics or expounding on the complexity of biological mechanisms such as the human brain, or the eyeball: Not only is creation the only plausible explanation through the branches of science and philosophy; it’s the only plausible explanation by the use of common sense.
Romans 1:20 words it best: “For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities- his eternal power and divine nature have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.”
With as beautiful as this world is and the life within it, from the vast amount of sea creatures from sperm whales to sea turtles with life spans longer than humans, to the phenomenon of this mass body of water which is 95% unexplored called the ocean which compasses the earth, to the survival instincts of various insects such as the praying mantis-
It’s an outright disgrace to the human mind and all its complexity to make such a brainless assertion that the world and all its glory is the product of a spontaneous miracle which abruptly spawned from disorder and voidness; it’s rather foolish..Once again, the Bible words this mindset best in the book of psalms 14:14:The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God.”
It’s okay if you want to be foolish my atheist friends; for many years I was willfully foolish as well when I was an atheist, but when your children ask “daddy, where did the world come from” please don’t indoctrinate them into the same comfortable lies which bring you closure that God isn’t real.. You’ll be harming them, and robbing them of the richness of understanding the full breadth of this created world they’re apart of, and setting them on a path of more questions which must be filled with foolish answers. #share
